Tickets are officially on sale today. Sales have been slow but I'm sure it's due to a few factors such as friendlies in other areas of the country and the fact it's a few months off. However, I encourage those of you who can to purchase tickets soon, since once this match becomes the focus, it will sell with a quickness. Re: US v Poland Commemorative Scarves Available for Pre-Order I like the scarves a lot, they look professionally done. I'm going to try to get to the game in Chicago, but I won't know for awhile if I'll be able to make it there.
I'll be traveling from North Dakota for this game, just got my tickets yesterday!! So I'm wondering if anyone could give me some good tips on good places to stay and good places to have some victory beers after the game!! I haven't been to a pro game since WC94 in Detriot and I am quite excited! Thanks for any ideas!!!
Is this game a double header with the Fire? And also where will the US supporter's section be at the stadium?
Yes, it's a doubleheader. Chicago v New England immediately follows. The US supporters' section is wherever you sit But Section 8 will be hosting US fans in the following sections: - > 115, 117, 215, and spilling over to adjacent sections (119, 120, 121, etc.) as needed (and they look to be). However, I wouldn't recommend setting up for the night in Section 8 if you're intending to support New England in the nightcap.
No I like the Fire just fine. I'll root for them to win the game. I'll try to pick up the chants as well if our seats are in your section.
Hi all, I do not know if this is the correct forum to place this message and this might be a long shot, but here it goes...... I purchased tickets to the Poland game, but due to unforseen circumstances I cannot attend. There are 2 tickets. Section 110 Row 4 Seats 12 and 13. The face value price is $80.00 a piece, but I would be willing to take best offer. Thanks, Melissa
A few questions for the Soldier Field locals: Which side are the team benches located? How is the view from behind the goals? The available $35 seats in the "supporters section" from Ticketbastard is sec #122, row #10, right behind the goals. Here's what I found while looking for 8 tickets, as an FYI: $28 - Section 224, row #8 $35 - Section 122, row #10 $45 - Section 130, row #17 $60 - Section 133, row #17 We definitely want to be near the supporter action to "help" and for the atmosphere. How much is the beer? Any seats to avoid would also be helpful. Thanks!
Benches for Fire games are on the EAST side, that is the same side as the supporters section in the diagram above and it is looking to your RIGHT as you sit in the 120 series sections behind the south goal. I think the view from behind the goals is wonderful-- south end better than the north end. For most Fire games I am in section 122-123 and the raised level of the section, above the field, makes it a great view. $ 6 per beer, same as you'll find at any other sporting event.
Just in case you have yet to see the scarves Go to section8chicago.com for order information. See ya in Chicago, Fonsos
Any advise I am from New York I'll be in the Chicago area that weekend and I'm planing to attend that game;any seccion in the stadium which has a good view.... Thanks
Actually as long as you'e on the first two levels, your view should be alright. I'm not familiar with the 3rd level, so I have no experience regarding that level. Try to stand in the USA Supporter's end. It will be an experience like no other and it will be a lot of fun. See ya in Chicago, Fonsos
Please go out of your way to buy a US supporter's scarf for the Poland game. And plese do so well in advance of the match, as it will be difficult enough to sell scarves the night of the game to the general public much less core support. Proceeds are being used for tifo for that match, and since there are already 4500+ Poland supporters' tickets sold, and I know they are buying several thousand dollars worth of materials, it's important we do our best ourselves. http://section8chicago.com/store.html
Just pointing this out again. Try to get a scarf (they do take paypal) and try to get many people to this game.
