Well at least she hurt it trying to get to and win the ball unlike half of the team. Others hurt theirs making passes to the other team and shooting balls "50 yards out". The way this is shakin they HAVE to win the rest of their group games and by large margins.

She doesnt have much to work with. Her lineup to start was fine, at a certain point the players need to take responsiblity when they are just playing like shit. Pia can't make them pass better.

You have to create chances to finish them.

Was it the 2000 Olympic final where Norway did a team "crawl" across the field after they won?

That just popped in my head after Chastain said that Norway doesnt shy away from celebrating

I don't care for her commentating. It sucks.

    I prefer Lori Walker.

The men's game and the women's game aren't comparable. I can understand her RVN comment and shooting from a closer range, but still use a comparable stat from the Women's Game, Birgit in the Bundesliga. Where does she score all her goals from??

Ruud in the EPL vs the women's in the Oly's. Apples and oranges

As a coach, this is what's called "a teaching opportunity".

After a loss like this, the team is more likely to listen to a coach. Especially if the coach has been telling them to play small ball, stop booting the ball up the field, create movement, yadda yadda yadda

It looks like Huc takes better corners than Lloyd.

I think they did it in the 1995 World Cup and in the Oly's in 2000

Is this the same Norway team we played a month ago, or did they keep some of their stars out?

The problem is the lack of leadership talent. You can have all of the talent in the world, but there was no one on the field, today, willing to become the 4-star General and pick this team up.

    It is now!

Good defence, I'll tell you, these Norweigans are very easy on the eye! And no big ugly tattoos and I'll leave it there in good taste, well done ladies.

I will agree with you there....Players like Boxx need to fill that void.
