    Ok...

We've had 3 players around 1 player, there reason she should have gotten a second touch on that ball

And Heath is on for Cox! Pia is sticking with Lloyd and Boxx.

That makes some sense. I am not confident is big wins in the next two games though, not after this.

Is goal difference the tie-break as in a regular FIFA tournament?

I have been sitting here watching this game for the second half. The US looks so disorganized and so very sloppy it's bad. I haven't seen the US look this pathetic in a long time. Like 2003 WWC. I know they are missing three big pieces and we are a much younger team, but still, this is bad. 10 minutes left and the US still has no flow and it looks like Norway wants to bunker and counter.

whats clear is we know they know how to pass and shoot: this is a mental breakdown. Then need to get their heads in the game. frankly maybe a loss will do some good.

hey, just started watching at work... I'm sure it's been asked before, but what's with the lack of USA crests on the jerseys?

Mental breakdown in the most severe form! We're just a few minutes from full time and we're still passing the ball directly back to Norway!

That's a good question... I'm actually not sure. I'd assume they do it that way and not based soley on the fair play point system based on a team's total card tally.

Yes. The main thing that helps is the fact that there are only three groups, so two of three third place teams go through.

In this type of 12 down to 8 group stage, we have a game to burn. Unfortunately, we're burning it in our first game.

That might be one question the WNT blog will answer if someone posted it there. I'm sure they aren't going to want to post any of the other comments we might have about the game.

Pretty dissappointed with Pia and some of her choices..both pre-game and during the game. The bloom is off the rose.
