I'll be down in Tar Heel country this weekend. Anyone know of a soccer-friendly sports bar in Chapel Hill?
The Toreros in Durham by South Square is a very underrated place to watch soccer. They have a satellite and I watched all kinds of soccer games there. You could try calling them. It is a fifteen minute drive from Chapel Hill.
There is a group of us that have searched high and wide in the triangle area for a place to watch this game. The only place that has absolutely said "Yes, we'll be showing it" is SoccerDome America in Raleigh. It is located at 5600 Hillsborough St. in Raleigh, probably about a 30 minute drive from Chapel Hill. My girlfriend (if she beats the flu) and I are driving from Chapel Hill to Soccerdome to watch the match if you want a ride/someone to follow. Depending on the roads, which should be fine by then, we'll leave around 6:45 or so.
