I hope we win or draw. But if we don't, I hope we lose 17-0 and finally get this clown booted off our manager's bench.
Spector is gonna be shredded. Not a good match-up for him, but love him against other types of teams.
Good luck USA. I think a lot of the negative reaction to the starting line-up comes from the deep-down knowledge that we are likely to lose this match regardless, so folks are already working it out of their system. The ball is round, the game is 90, let's just see what happens. We aren't as good as they are, but the one thing I know is that fact won't stop this team from playing hard and fighting for every chance.
Donovan looks focused. Lets see if he is once again up to the task to carry the burden against a heavyweight. Lets go U.S.
The frustrating part is that this is a competitively-losing side. We will likely play enough to be close, but a wonderful opportunity to develop some of our younger, skillful players will be lost here- in a game that is not a World Cup qualifier and is a full one year before WC 2010. Bradley likes to repeat a lot of Arena's ideas- but the most genius idea of Arena of developing Beasley and Adu early seems totally lost on Bradley in regards to especially Adu, but also Torres and some extent Davies.
Interesting Harkes saying BB went with what he was "comfortable" with.......come on Harkes, say what you really feel.
Can people stop recommending espn360 for a stream. We all know what it is. Many people can't get it based on their service provider.
In. It's 12 midnight, Melbourne time, Friday morning officially, I'm facing a very short night of sleep after this before I head into work, and that's after having done a double-shift earlier. But it's going to be worth it. After all, it's "Casual Friday" at work today.
Any reason Altidore doesn't put his hand over his heart during the National Anthem when everyone else on the team does?
Good news!!! Beasley's first touch is magical and filled with experience....Oh and we just give Brasil a dangerous free kick.
