All in all, this is a stronger team than the one in the GC. Position by position: Guzan/Howard > Rimando/Johnson Evans/Parkhurst > Parkhurst/Beltran (RB) Cameron = Goodson/Gonzo (RCB) JAB/Ream < Besler/MOF (until I see Brooks with the NT, I won't put him above Besler) Fabian/Castillo > Beasley/Castillo (LB) Jones/Williams > Beckerman/Holden (DM/CM) Bradley/Mix > Mix/Holden (B2B) Corona/Bedoya/Torres = Corona/Bedoya/Sacha (central-wide players) Fabian/EJ/Wood > Beaz/EJ/Shea (impact sub/impact move to winger or WF) Johannsson/Mix/Sacha < LD/Mix/Holden (if played as creators, LD's are big shoes to fill) Jozy/Boyd > Wondo/EJ So this team is stronger in 7 positions, same in 2, and weaker in 2 (because of Besler and Donovan).
Yea im not a big Evans fan especially not with Lichaj having just put in two good games in a similar league. But Parkhurst....We could do worse. He's capable and trustworthy at least from what i've seen. The guy is tactically sound and at least not a disaster.
Grant Wahl wow! klinsi knows people. normally that paperwork sits on a bureaucrat or the bureaucrat's secretary's desk until they come back from their 10th leisurely fifa junket. bet klinsi made some calls.
The news on Aron is huge. I really don't want him getting his first cap in a qualifier, and after qualifying we only get a few matches before Brazil. Good chance to evaluate him

I don't. I think the Iceland FA chief made such a fuss that FIFA is sending him a big, loving, bureaucratic "F*$k you!" by expediting Bacon's application. They love to show everyone just who really is in charge.
Give this man way too much credit. He didn't have time. He was healing the sick, visiting the orphanage and defusing landmine fields left over from the '90's war.
Calculated odds based on results of all international matches over last 5 years: BIH vs USA Probability of BIH win: 44% Probability of USA win: 32% Probability of draw: 24% Prediction: BIH 2 USA 1 (9% probability)
If this is accurate, it might not be a straightforward two man front, with EJ playing wide with FJ on the other flank and a three man central midfield. Aside from Kjlestan and Castillo, sounds about what I expected.
