One word... Italians Im in Sicily from 14th-22nd. Hopefully i can catch some friendlies or Serie B match.
August 6th to August 24th is the entire trip. August 14th to 24th for Italy. So I'll be in Naples opening weekend. My goal is hopefully they have a home game. But honestly I don't know the first thing about tickets in Italy........I know the stadiums don't sell out much but can I just buy tickets when I get there? Do I need a members card or anything?
i'm not sure about other stadiums..but for a juve game i went to back in 2012... i joined and got tickets through a fan club.. and had to bring my passport as ID to the game.
if you don't mind streaming... DAZN in Canada has the serie a rights $150 a year it's a no brainer for me to get every Serie A game + champions league/europa league + La liga + NFL + KHL Hockey
The US rights have not been determined yet. Tho an article says ESPN and Turner seem to have the leg up
I got a friend from around Parma who'll do a search for me. If I'm lucky, maybe I can catch Catania. Hey if you lucky, maybe you get to see an Italy match
One problem with putting out a schedule is figuring out who will be playing in either Serie A or B. There is the uncertainty of Chievo & Parma in A and several teams in B.
I believe Parma (match fixing) and Chievo Verona (transfers falsely accounted) face possible retroactive relegation.
Gotcha. Why is this so a re-occuring theme in Italian football? Btw I'm in Palermo Aug14-18 and Catania 18-22. So, I'm gonna hope to catch something. Whether it's a cup match or friendly. Or even look for a Serie B team in either of those areas.
lol I tried to learn some but figured the places we are going they most likely speak English anyways.
I'm trying to win favor with some Sicilian moms, so i might have to put in more hours learning or maybe cooking
Don't listen to Ciuccio. He stereotypes everyone. It will be a mix. There will be plenty of Sicilians who speak perfect Italian. There will also be some who stick with the dialect to ******** with you. Same goes with English. Those who deal with tourists will have a good grasp of the language.
There is still no news on when the schedule released? You'd think they at least say a date or something lol
