beene's getting a work out now. if they don't start playing better, panama will score a goal before this game ends.

They just showed her on the side line, with her knee iced and wrapped up - she is on the bench, and was talking to people there. So hopefully it isn't too bad.

Millie's got the tracksuit on and ice on knee so she won't be back. let's hope she will for the next game.

You can see how being a woman down effects the passing. Many passes float into space and there just isn't a player to run onto them.

yes, it was nice to see her scoring some goals again. nobody plays with as much heart as she does.

Being a player down isn't always that bad - this season the Spirit were down to the Charge for 80 minutes and out-played their opponents.

Wambach hits the post; she had some time but it was a bit of a tough angle.

    84th minute

Wabach hits the post again - Julie made a good long pass to her deep in the bos, she got the keeper to stand still, and then hit a ground shot to the right of her and it hit the post and went out...

Finally - Abby with a toe-poke goal of another long ground pass...

And #9 for Panama is given a red-card for something that happened off the ball after the score.

Foudy another good long pass, this time to Mac, but her shot is saved by the keeper.

Then a bit later - another save by the keeper, this time on a shot by Abby

    Rats!!!

Kate hits a long drive, the keeper out of position, but her shot is high and wide...

And then less than a minute later she is run into by a leaping #11, and she goes down.

2 minutes of extra time announced...

Panama are getting rather violent. The one who got sent off clocked Mac and now another slams into Sobrero.

US needs to avoid further injury.

they tried to show a replay, and said something about Mac getting hit - but you couldn't see anything...

And Kate got up, so she appears to be okay.
