Price was a few rows behind us in the stands last night. He was listed as questionable with an injury so I understand sitting him. For me if we took this seriously and started Smith instead of Sjoberg we almost certainly win (shocking I'm saying that about Smith now).
I suppose there is still a chance for the Rocky Mountain Cup. Hard to win two games, but possible. Of course, they might decide Anderson needs more seasoning for when he turns 17.
PS has also said, when asked about the Open Cup, the team wants silverware - there's a motivation there. So, while it's not a critical bar, I'd say it's another miss. One which, maybe, should have a little more measure when a playoff run is unlikely.
Only twice this year? I assume that is the new normal with expansion? I used to like three. Strangely enough, that probably helps this year.
NM United beat Dallas to move onto next round. Game winning goal scored by former Rapids Sam Hamilton. https://www.mlssoccer.com/post/2019/06/19/highlights-fc-dallas-vs-new-mexico-united-june-19-2019
I found Hamilton to be a really good show. I like musicals but not all of them, and I was skeptical about all the hype. But we had a chance to see it while on a trip to Chicago (where it was in residence) and it was really good. That and Book of Mormon lived up to the hype for me. I'd recommend those two shows even to non theater fans.
As a fan of early American history but not of musicals in particular I was blown away by Hamilton. While taking liberties with the actual history it does a really good job of encapsulating his life and doesn't make him (or really anyone else other than maybe Eliza) into a hero, as nobody in the story really deserves it (again, other than maybe Eliza). We saw it when it was in Denver last time and it was completely worth what they were charging. The one scene they intentionally left off the official soundtrack got me right in the feels. It also pairs nicely with 1776, which we watch on or around 4th of July every year.
Huh. I saw it in Chicago in 2017, and I don't recall any extra scene not from the cast album. Can you elaborate?
Spoiler tag in case anyone doesn't want to know: Hamilton (Move your mouse to reveal the content) Hamilton (open) Hamilton (close) Laurens death is not included on the official soundtrack. Miranda said he wanted to leave something out so that there was something new and unexpected when people saw the show and he felt that scene has its fullest impact when seen on stage
