The Quest of the Fire's first US Open Cup since 2006 (the year before Mr. Hauptman purchased the team) starts Wednesday, June 28th at 7:00 p.m. Game on ESPN 2. The Fire and FC Cincinnati have never played a competitive match. The Fire have Four US Open Cup Championships 1998, 2000, 2003, 2006, with 2006 the only year that we won the US Open Cup and did not also play in MLS Cup finals. The Fire last made it to a US Open Cup Final in 2011. FC Cincinnati play in the USL and have only been around for two years. They were coached by John Harkes (USMNT "Captain for Life") and are now coached by a South African, Alan Koch. FC Cincinnati boast a plethora of former MLS Players, including former Fire players Corben Bone and Austin Berry, as well as Omar Cummings, Eric Stevenson and Victor Mansaray (who?).
Imagine that, Munich and Cincinnati are sister cities. Berlin has LA, Hamburg has Chicago, Munich has ********ing Cincinnati.
It is kinda lame that the coolest thing we can think of when it comes to Cincinnati the last 40 years or so is a sitcom about a quirky radio station. And that is using the term "coolest" loosely.

I think of a football player who legally changed his name to a number that isn't even how you say 85 in spanish
I've got softball at 9 and will be leaving the bar around 8:30, so hopefully they put this thing away before then (assuming I can actually get it put on a TV).
With one day to go Bailey Quarters is in the lead with 10 votes. Rubber Dick right behind her (pun intended) with 7 votes. Actress Jan Smithers turns 68 on Monday. A recent interview http://www.newsweek.com/2016/05/27/jan-smithers-newsweek-teens-issue-457672.html She has not aged particularly well, but neither have most us, I guess.
Do they have awesome chili at the Globe? Oh, I see. Wait, @bunge is vegetarian. I can only assume that there is some form of meat product in Cincinnati chili. Probably rat or ground Kentuckians, but there must be some from meat.
Frankly, I think she looks great. I like women who age gracefully and without a ton of plastic surgeries.
I was thinking about Ocho Cinco too while I was writing that post. But he got too weird for me to say he was cooler than WKRP.
Casual FC Cincy fan stopping by. I remember watching you all against NYCFC last year and you looked god awful. Other than Schweinsteiger, what has led to this year's drastic turnaround? The Crew put out an A- side against Cincy and did not do a good job of breaking down Cincy's 3-5-2 in the final third. What can we expect from the Fire tonight?
