hard to say in 15 minutes, but he made one suburb pass out of the back. Quite possibly the 2nd best outlet pass from a GK after Howard to Donovan against Algeria in 2010. 3G seems to rate Johnson, and mentioned he had a good camp. That said, it wasn't nearly enough to overtake or even split time with Steffen. I figure he is in the running for the roster though.
Alex Bono tonight: Here's our fourth goal of the game, courtesy of Bryan Arguez!! Bryan Arguez still exists? Holy Danny Szetela batman......I think thats the only thing almost as shocking as bono going full bingham.........which sucks a whole metric ton for our keeper pool

Rumors abound that Auxerre's Quentin Westberg might be signing with TFC, which obviously has implications for Bono, who has been in disaster mode this preseason.
Soooooo Chelsea just had a vacancy open up I’m pretty sure lol. I don’t care if that kid had the talent of prime Buffon I’d banish his butt to Gateshead For that crap
Seriously! All I could think when that happened was if I was a Sarri; Kepa wouldn’t see the light of day for the rest of the season and I’d make every effort to go for the biggest fine possible. That’s not only an insult to the coach, but to Caballero, and the rest of his teammates. Plus, he didn’t even pull out the W. So, we’ll see what kind of spine Sarri has.
So true. I've always believed in 1 thing about bosses/management. Never ever denounce them before others. If you hate your boss; fine. If they're stupid, tell them privately. You jeopardize everything by doing that with an audience. And if your boss doesn't fire you or discipline you; they look weak and risk the behavior continuing or spreading to others.
Holy delayed reaction, Brad! {No, not on Acosta's goal, but to Hamid's comments.} https://www.ajc.com/sports/atlanta-united-guzan-responds-hamid-claim/jel1JeCUFVUH3IXdlxAtfJ/ No names, please ...
Well, Hamid called him out multiple times, then by name explicitly. I'm sure that'd ruffle Howard's feathers, let alone a GK who is still fighting for a spot in the pool as opposed to retiring. I don't know whether that makes Hamid more or less of an option going forward. He's not going to pip soon-to-be-gone Steffen, nor Horvath. And with him being abrasive as of late, I don't think he fits the "veteran 3rd GK/bench coach" role. On the other hand, maybe GGG thinks he's showing some passion/emotion, and that that's a good thing.
I feel like Hamid is shooting himself in the foot because he is in the discussion for number 3, but if he is speaking badly about other GKs I think Berhalter will not call him up. Berhalter seems to be about the culture of the team and Hamid doesn't seem to fit the culture because if he isn't playing he will be a negative influence in the locker room.
I just hope Hamid is given a shot. If he's the best performing US keeper in MLS; he deserves a shot. This outburst may be the very fire to keep him going. He needs to dominate this season and make a return to Denmark.
