    Pulisic deserved to come off.

    We were constipated.

One thing I noticed is that often Yedlin was the 4th attacker. He always waited before crossing the ball.

Pulisic was bad at times, but there was more to it then just him. It was a systemic issue.

I've advocated for Pulisic to be played on the outside, but he needs an effective fullback with whom to combine. Additionally, Sargent was dropping way too far back in the US defensive area to defend and doing it too often, and even when he was forward he had trouble combining.

If Pulisic can't combine with Sargent because he isn't there, and Pulisic can't combine with Lovitz because he's Lovitz, then that leaves him only one real option (McKennie) and a bunch of 1-v-2, 1-v-3, and 1-v-4 situations.

lletget for roldan would have made a huge difference on even an average night for roldan. roldan was absolutely tragic tonight.

Canada basically funneled the ball to Yedlin and dared him to beat them. And he was terrible.

Of course, so was most of the team. Playing next to Roldan couldn't have helped.

Roldan was terrible, but he wasn't an attacker. He was playing the 8. Of course McKennie could have dropped back, but it seemed Gregg overreacted to that so meaningful performance against mighty Cuba.

Yep. That was a huge mistake, especially given that McKennie couldn't complete a pass or receive one.

Roldan is a huge liability. If we're going to continue to press McKennie forward, Morales is the immediate thought instead of Roldan.
