Hopefully its not La Bombonera Junior on Sunday. I want SOME home field advantage. Last year, I attended Soldier Field for the Clash of the Champions between Brazil and USA and it got a little over 73,000 people in attendance if I recall correctly. The atmosphere was great. It was 50% Brazilian fans and 50% American fans. Much better than the 80-20 difference we see when USA plays the likes of Mexico in California.

Very true. But I don't like people disrespecting our National Anthem and plus I just love the way USA sounds with more (thousands) people. And they are OUR home games, so it shouldn't be like that, at least not for a WCQ. For friendlies it doesn't matter.

Speaking of National Anthem...once I hear that, I know I'll get goosebumps and that'll be my extra kick of excitement before kickoff. Damn, I'm pumped!

 

Its gonna be the FIFA Anthem for me. Frankly I think it's the best entrance in sports. Not like all these flashy whacked out basketball introductions.

Guys remember to get there early with all the construction going on in the Meadowlands. If you get there any time after 5 or 5 30, you'll prob. have to park somewhere else and take a shuttle to the stadium.

lol it was so loud I could hardly hear the FIFA Anthem, and I wouldn't have heard a thing if I wasn't listening for it.
