True, there were more instances of bad sportsmanship from the Uruguayans, however the worse of all came from a Chilean. If memory serves it was Jara putting his finger in a certain place.
#CopaAméricaEnTyC La increíble reacción de Suárez porque no entró en el segundo tiempo https://t.co/EN0y6yd5SJ— TyC Sports Play (@TyCSportsPlay) June 10, 2016
In the Mexico-Jamaica telecast, they are saying that he was listed as ineligible prior to the game due to injury, and asking the question if that is the case, why did Suarez dress and why was he not informed of the decision (guessing that he wasn't informed based on his reaction). If it was a doctor decision, it is odd that he wasn't advised earlier.
This is the reaction of a player that LOVES his Country, his team, and Colors.. this is what Ecuador needs.. a player that plays with HEART and LOVE for his team.. Ecuador needs more players que Suden la camiseta.. GRANDE LUIS SUAREZ!
Besides the beautiful reaction of Suarez.. Venezuela also showed today, Con GARRA y PASSION.. anything is possible! TAKE NOTES ECUADOR! I bet Venezuela are going to win the Copa.. and we are going to be the only ones left in South America without being champions.. smh
sorry to pop to your optimistic bubble but I predict Venezuela ends as group runner up and then gets trounced by D1 (most likely Argentina). Mexico surefire champs.
Uruguay is not that good. Without forlan and suarez there aren't any skilled finishers. Venezuela will not win the cup.
Is it just me or is Venezuela always uruguay's dark horse? For a long time now whenever Venezuela plays Uruguay they put up a strong fight. This has been a trend since the 3-0 win in el centenario back in 2004. It seems that with full squad of all their star players ( Uruguay), Venezuela never backs down against Uruguay . It's funny because I saw Uruguay losing a mile away yesterday, and it's weird but it seems that Venezuela who many shit on in CONmEBOL is the only team who plays with garra and passion against Uruguay.
Credit should be given where credit is due, Venezuela has improved a lot since 2007 they have been a tough nut to crack in the copa America and a usual favourite to qualify out of their group, a feat not even Ecuador can accomplish even when playing their best moments of football during qualifiers. The most memorable copa match for me that changed my view on Venezuela was the 3-3 group draw versus Paraguay where they were losing 3-1 up until the 85th minute and then they went turbo and all out even bringing the goalkeeper out ( Renny vega) during a last breath corner in the 95th minute where they tied the match up.
Wouldn't you want to have his life, his wonderful family, and the adoration of millions, you poor envious hating sap.
we already have them.. but most never get called up... instead of calling up the good players.. Our DT calls up Gaibor, Larrea, and Banguera, and to a Lesser extent.. ACHILLIER
Now that you mention it.. Argentina is the only Conmebol team that Mexico hasn't beaten in YEARS.. Argentina knows how to play Mexico.. What's their secret?
How far back is "in years"? Has Mexico beaten Brazil or Chile the past ten years? I don't think it's so much that Argentina has a secret, they just like to play to their level when facing Mexico and that is always going to give them an advantage.
Mexico has beaten Brazil 2 - 1 in the 2012 London Olympics.. if I'm not mistaken.. Mexico also defeated Chile about two weeks ago.. I know it was just a friendly, but still
This year I think Mexico would give them a good game. I would love to see a Mexico vs. Argentina final. A concacaf vs. Conmebol matchup with arguably the best in each confederation at the moment. That would be a fitting way to end the 100th copa america.
