Hope it's a good game. Peru will probably park the bus, though.

'7 Uruguay almost scored. Peru passing the ball around well as they always do but the question is will they be able to get more up front and finish their chances. Uruguay with most of the ball possession 10' in.

Neutral zone trap for a counter attack if they do.

Hmm. Uruguay was dominating but Peru scored in the counter. Could this be the cup of tactical awareness?

Sure does look like it and that is the only way to score as Peru parked the bus with only one forward up front and everyone else between the halfway line and the 18yrd box. Nice pass nice goal hope to see more.

Perhaps too tactical... goals define excitement, even if tactical battles are engaging from a different perspective.

Another thing to add that if there's someone who knows how to plan a good counter game, that would be Markarian..

Finally Uruguay could tie the match, I think we'll have an interesting second half now.

Also based on some attacks wasted by Uruguay and the other matches, is it me or do most of south american teams want to carry the ball all the way to the back of the net without shooting?

Is it just me or Cavani usually plays way below his level for Uruguay?
