I still think Panini should have started out in soccer over here by getting a license from MLS for stickers. Hand out the free albums at the stadiums - to kids - like they do in europe (via newspapers & magazines and store promos). Then sell the sticker packs in all the right places, like Target etc and of course at the stadium concessions. Believe me, kids collect stickers, you try find a pack of panini nhl 12/13 stickers anywhere - I haven't seen a pack for almost a month and my daughter's album is still way short of being completed. Panini have already sold WC and Euro12 albums over here so why not get their feet wet with MLS via stickers ?
I remember when I was younger and collected the stickers. I had the same problem then that your daughter is having today.
