    I got:

    from http://my.bigsoccer.com/

If I click on Private Messages and then go to My Bigsoccer that way, then all is fine.

Man, gotta put down the beer.

Yep that is the page I got. I had some problems with my username, but after 4 attempts after waiting 15 mins each time it finally went through.

This is the link for mybigsoccer:

    http://my.bigsoccer.com/

maybe a DNS issue?? I noticed that tonight was the first time that I got the bigsoccer.com address in my URL.

Took the Private Messages route, didn't work

DNS is the thing that tells BIGSOCCER.COM to point to whatever IP the server is actually located at. When you move servers, you must send out a new dns. This can take 1-7 days, depending on what ISP YOU use. That is called propogation.

Sometimes soccernutter uses my computer to post, but he always logs out once he is done. I was logged in yesterday when I left to work. When I came back and took a look at BS, it had soccernutter logged!
I log out soccernutter... this morning I come back and the screen starts up with the "Welcome, soccernutter"

I deleted all my cookies, and for now that seems to have worked, but do you know what a pain it is to go through every other website I have automatic log in and set the log in and password all over again?

I'll keep soccernutter away from my computer until the problem gets solved.

Mine has now been marking the forums read within a minute of me signing in. Not a big deal, just makes moderating more difficult because I can't readily identify the new posts. Oh, it has also started signing me out whenever I close the window. (And I have cleared my cookies.)

    Just so ya know.

logging in and posting has become hit or miss.

i've either "exhausted my loggin attemp quota" or i get a message saying "posts from remote links not permitted" or some such crap.

You could try just deleting the Bigsoccer cookies.

    I see this was covered.

For what it's worth I'm not having any of these problems. Of course, now that I've said that all hell will break loose.

Look at the second bar on the top of your BigSoccer browser window. It goes:
My BigSoccer FAQ Members List New Posts

It is a search of all new posts since you last visited bigsoccer. The problem is that the last visit seems to update fast sometimes so instead of showing the 1000s of new posts it will show a dozen that have been put in the last few minutes.
