any update on the timeframe to make this site not look depressingly ugly and boring? the grey and off-black framing colors [coupled with the crappy font] make me sad on the bright(er) side of things, i like how you can more easily post youtubes and the like also anyway to make the approximately 80 forums that i never visit stay closed after i leave the site? or will we in perpetuity have to clod our way down the list to get to the USA/MLS section?
Not at all. I currently have three threads open in separate tabs. Two show the rep button, one does not.
Bugs and Suggestions – 6/25 Okay, so it has been a while, and another list needs to be made. Some of these are recurrent issues, and some will be for status updates. There is no particular order other than the first and second (yeah, I know I said I would in a previous post). My BigSoccer – can we have a status update? (You mentioned on 5/22 you hoped it would be up in a couple of days) Listing mods for their respective forum Technical – there are a lot of duplicate posts Multiquote – still unable to do so when want to multiquote on more than one page at a time Next/Previous thread links Team line-up function still missing Technical – Issue editing a post if “
” is removed – does not recognize that the “
” has been edited out. Replies to thread – clicking number of posts telling us who posted in a thread a certain number of times. Will it return? When another BigSoccer post/thread is linked in post, clicking the link opens it in the same page. Can this be changed to match non-BS links in posts? Revisiting a previous question: When selecting the post number and opening it in a new thread/window, it is possible to make it just that post rather than the entire thread? On a posters profile page, in old BS, we could check "all posts" and "threads started." Could the "threads started" option return From earlier in this thread The above is still occurring. Have alerts for watched fora been eliminated?
This is being done now. They're listed beneath the Watch Forum button and above the thread list on the forum page.
I presume you meant "who posted " in the thread. That was a nifty little tool that I miss. I would second this fix.
Okay, from the above I am confused. To the best of explanation, I'm guessing that sometimes the rep button appears for you, and other times it does not. This is not considering any specific forum or thread. Is that correct, or is there another explanation?
That is correct. Yesterday I had four threads open over two forums and rep buttons were present for all posts. This morning, and tonight, same thing but with NO buttons on any page. If there is some sort of combination that makes it work, I haven't really paid attention to see what it would be.
I have a request, is there a way to change it so the editor never formats pasted text, it drives me nuts having to paste something in, then go back and hit "remove formatting"....

Have alerts for watched fora been eliminated?
I'd like to get an old request added back to the to-do list: 14. Sort most-recent posts first This was brought up months ago. Several of us who used lots of different forums have gotten used to doing it this way over many many years. It continues to be annoying that BigSoccer is out of step with all our other forum subscriptions. And IIRC Huss said this should be do-able. So PLEASE????
Huss said something to the effect that fewer than 1% of BS users used this function. I replied that for the 1%, it's a big component of said usage. I should've added that it was a very important 1%
