Univision's Mexican Relatores

Mi opinion:

No soy ni Mexicano ni Argentino. Esto quiero decir que no tengo ningun problema dando mi opinion sobre este tema.

Para empezar, los quiero a los dos. Los mexicanos son considerados los hombres mas machistas de latinoamerica, mientras que los argentinos los mas pedantes y creidos. Los mexicanos son nacionalistas al igual que los argentinos. Los mexicanos tienen mas influencia en los EE.UU que los argentinos. Esto les permite que su futbol sea considerado como de local. Solo mirar la cantidad de partidos mexicanos que se trasmiten cada semana. Casi superan a los de la MLS, ligas europeas y ligas de conmebol y concacaf juntas. Ya se imaginan. Los mexicanos pueden darse el lujo de jugar partidos en EE.UU como locales, incluso partidos impartantes a nivel internacionales, copa Toyota pre-libertadores y otras copas. Se dice que el jugar en USA les proporsiona un buen beneficio economico a los mexicanos. Por ejemplo, un partido jugado en el Home Depot Center a casa llena, deja mas beneficios que un partido jugado a casa llena en el Azteca. Pues todo el beneficio es en dolar y las entradas del azteca son baratas comparativamente hablando. Esto es positivo para los mexicanos. Los Argentinos en cambio no gozan de este privilegio.

Los argentinos

Ya viven miles y miles en los EE.UU, pero solo casi se radican en Miami dade o zonas cerca a esta. Se puede decir que en Miami una franquicia de la MLS que sea orientada a esta comunidad, podria dar sorpresas. Me gustaria ver un equipo en Miami que se llame Boca jr FC o algo asi. Sin embargo, lo argentinos tienen serios problemas de convivencia con otros grupos hispanos. Tienen como su mundo aparte. Esto no es bueno. Los aires europeos no te van a pagar tu hipoteca ni la renta, ni te van a comprar un carro. Tampoco hay que humillarse a los gringos y pretender ser como ellos. Esto es una verguenza. Tambien pensar que la opiniones de ellos es la validad y real. Todo esto tiene que acabar. Tenemos que ser hermanos todos. Todos sabemos que el futbol de argentino es lo mejor que tiene el continente. El mercadeo mexicano es mejor, pero Argentina supera a Mexico a nivel de clubes y a nivel de seleccion nacional. Esto creo que lo sabe todo el mundo, incluso hasta los propios mexicanos.

LMFAO !!! Your absolutley right Mono Mario !!! i was making this exact observation the other day..honestly i dont kno why they do it. Thier is no logical explanation. Yo Soy Mexicano....and im always gonna support my country NO MATTER WHAT..but sometimes i have to say ENOUGH is ENOUGH..im tired of these tv stations (univision especially) elevating us up to something were not..and thier are mindless Mexicanos out there who dont kno anything about football and buy in to this shit. I kno that we (Mexicanos) are the majority of hispanics in the u.s but this is the WC and thier are plently of hispanic people in the states that are NOT Mexicanos and would like equally biased broadcasting.

Si Mejico es muy lindo por que no protestan en Mejico DF y no en las calles de los EEUU??? Protesten a su gobierno que les den mejor vida y sin estan TAN orgullosos de mejico por que no se regresan a su horrible pais????

I started watching all the games in ESPN but between them hyping up the US and pretty much giving me a run down of all the rules i got tired of it. I mean..I know the rules of the sport..why summarize them every 2 minutes? I then switched to Univison. I try to catch all the bruno and borja games because by far they are the best in univision. Pablo ramirez is a douchebag.." sabrooossa" that was an all time low. Either way for the worldcup we're F*cked. SO i just combine it. Some ESPN and Some Univision.

 

you don't know the pain if ESPN isn't your only provider of the WC.

What I am telling you is that in Mexico we dont make up words. Here in the States uneducated people from all over Latin American make up words.

And my original point was to the ignorant fool that says we butcherd the Spanish language.

Because Nahuatl was incorporated into it ?

That only enhanced the language.

Reason I said you guys really butcher the language is beacuse you still use the Vosotros, which is considered dead, by the Real Academia Espanola (4got the tilde sue me) the foremost authority in the Spanish Language. And because you guys have a fascination with always adding "ate" to al,pst every word.

 

You sure? From watching years and years of Mexican soccer the biggest impression I get is that most Mexican commentators got on tv due to connections but not actual talent or studying in university for their field.

Of course we all know that connections matter in every country but at least the FSE commentators from south america you can tell they took some classes to at least be somewhat professional. You can tell they put some study into their profession. You watch the guys on tv azteca and the other Mexican channels you think immediately they must have connections to have gotten the job because they sound so bad. You wonder if they even know much about futbol a lot of them just complain and complain about what each team needs to do to win, how they shouldn't do this or that like if they were the coaches.

Their analysis is so simple I could do as good as job as them with no experience. All I have to do is say "they need to stop throwing centros," "they need to be more vertical," "they need to get the ball to this guy," i hear this in like every game to Mexican commentators that is analysis, I could do that for a living!

I find myself yelling at the tv saying stop telling the players how to play just comment on the action please!

 

Damn skippy I am one of those Mexicans that like to fight.

They need to use former coaches or players as commentators more. Jose Luis Chilavert has been a pleasant surprise. Has good comments to make about the tactics going on in the game and is not afraid to express his opinion

 

I found the positive side to them:


well, if I have to live with them for 16 more days I might as well find the good side.

I learned yesterday how to call a player from TOGO
I learned today how to say GOL in german.
I learned that eliminated teams' jerseys are only 35 euros (the official ones)

No sir, you are the ignorant, vosotros is still used in Spain, I lived there three years and used it everyday. Go inform yourself before making ignorant comments.

 

Yesterday univision and Fox sport was unlistenable.... the mexican guy with Jorge ramos is an idiot. I cannot stand him. He said, argentina still cannot beat us, after 90 minutes we were tied. That is a tie. Who cares, you are going home.

Also no one is saying anything bad about mexico... they are ONLY talking about mexico but no one says anything bad. I rewatched the match and the only thing Mexico did is bunker down the entire second half.. Argentina still had crespo miss an easy open net goal, saviola missing a 1 on 1 with the goalie, and having yet another legal goal disallowed.

 

You seem to be blind and sure dont know much knowledge of soccer. Mexico didnt bunker down the second half ,Mexico had 2 very unfortunate injuries i nthe 1st half which weren't expected. Of course, Mexico's agressivness was lesser i nthe 2nd half due to this unfortunate circumstances , but they still gave some good attacking plays.
