I was watching The announcement of the new mls/usa/espn/fox/univision tv deal, one thing that struck me was Univision Deportes President Juan Carlos Rodriguez's comments after a question from Greg Lalas. Lalas was asking if mls expansion was a factor in this deal. Rodriguez states that "We believe in 2026 the us should have... the FIFA world championship". seems as if this drew some unspoken reactions from mls commissioner Don Garber, US Soccer's Don Flynn and ESPN's John Skipper read into it as you like i guess 44:46
