Pre-game I'd been unhappy with CCV's inclusion, but he was better than I'd given him credit tonight.

    Miazga, well... Miazga. ;)

How i see things shaken out after this game. We have found guys that are unquestionably gonna be part of our future core. Forward, midfield, and center defense next to Miazga are where i see the biggest battles.

    -----------------?????------------?????-----------

    ---------Green-----------------------Pulisic---------
    -----------------Adams--------?????-----------------

    Robinson---------------------------------------Yedlin
    ----------------Miazga--------?????-----------------

    ----------------------........Steffen----------------------

Those are our biggest problem sets. We need probably more of a Danny Williams kind of player in that center mid spot to provide cover for green, pulisic, and even adams when he careens forward. We got good center back options, Miazga needs a work buddy though. and of course, we need someone besides Pulisic to get the sweet goalscoring touch up top.

Weah looks hungry. I know the kid wants it so bad... He's got 12 minutes.

Way to give Novakovich a game Dave. Dave's subs and lack of use of all them annoy me.

Early days still. Just dipping his toes in the pool at this point. Yedlin is the #1.

But for this game, you are correct.

Novakovich should have been tested. That is the point of friendlies early in the cycle, to test new players. Wood is a known quantity.

I don't care what people say... We have a great stable of potential with our CB's.

Too many of these guys are SO predictable with their play. There is zero creativity, sponteneity, ability to "read" ahead of the game. Acosts is another mostly robotic soccer player. Weah looks like he's got some flair.

Other than eternal USMNT depression, why would anyone think any of these results put Sarachan in contention?
