That's why it's a nothing game to me. The USMNT looks so bad. They don't look anywhere near competitive or look like they have any kind of clue. It's like watching a kid's game where they chase the ball around.

Just try something, even if you get killed 10-0.

We don't look like counter attacking is in the playbook.

Predictably, facing a loss, we're now complaining about how bad the pitch is - in a home game.

Next, we'll start complaining about the humid Caribbean weather.

    I don't think we've counterattacked once since 2011.

    (Kidding. Sort of.)

Disagree. You couldn’t take a worse angle to pressure the ball than Robinson took. He closed down all directions but the most dangerous one.

I actually like a lot of the youth in the pool (TBD if they develop or not) but I just don't understand when I watch the USMNT product on a night like tonight how so many people remain employed by the USSF.

If you have another screen, watch the Colombia-Venezuela and compare the speed of that game to this one.

I think Canouse, Morales, or Williams would be better than Trapp

In a thread just below this one I think I addressed this fact BEFORE we saw it again. US Soccer might be the worst footballing agency in the world at identifying and creating talent. That's not an overstatement.

I feel like we already learned the lesson that Trapp isn't that good at this level?

Yeah, it wasn't great from Robinson. However, Miazga inexplicably moved near post [I assume to attempt to cut off the cross] and left Firmino unmarked after a half ass wave to Yedlin. That's really poor awareness.

It also may be the only federation in the world tasked by A country’s fans to identify and develop talent.

This game desperately needs Pulisic. No runs. no dribbles, no attacks.

Brazil took its foot off the pedal and are basically taunting us to score and tie.

I seriously doubt Pulisic changes anything dramatically.

Em, I think an average fan would do a better job, he might even look past the Mississippi to find a single good player. Tab is like a chimp, he can't cross water so he just looked east.

Wood is an awful holdup player. Good runs. Poor holdup play. Poor at linking up. So-so finisher.

Pulisic may have scored and angered them and then... uy mamita querida.

Right now our doing nothing is earning their mercy.
