Donovan and Bradley are huge losses. This squad is still strong enough though to get 6 points even if they have to play 5 CMs, bunker and counter (like the US did 2 weeks ago).

Josh Gatt just got injured. Sigh. Is this kid ever NOT injured?

    4 goal keepers?!?!?!?!?!?

LD's hamstring getting a rest, but with Gatt injured, maybe that changes?

Really the only surprise on that roster is Spector. Gatt wasn't really a surprise. And still no Lichaj. No Chandler either.

Still no Lichaj. Kljestan and/or Mixx could have been helpful too.

Good lord the shortage of wingers on that roster is sad. Thinking we are once again going to suffer through Danny Williams at RM.

Also interesting to note: Edu filed with the defenders.

Do we have a link on this injury? He got subbed off, but when was it, and do we actually know it was an injury?

Would've liked to see Lichaj, Pontius and Kljestan but not surprised that we don't.

No Chandler. I think we should officially stop wondering about him unless and until something changes.

I hope that Gatt is healthy enough to come, though I don't really anticipate he'd play in his first camp.

Seems like the Fiscal goal bought himself another call up...whatever.

Glad to see Dempsey even if he's not 100% match fit. Sucks to have no Donovan or Bradley.

Strange listing Edu as a defender, but then again the roster announcements often put a player in a place that they don't end up playing.

    4 goalkeepers seems excessive.

Exactly. I hope LD's hamstring miraculously recovers tomorrow. If Gatt's injury is bad, we are going to have a hole.

Good to have Dempsey, bad about Chandler. I just wonder how people are going to react when he rises like the zombie he is and plays for us again.

It hurts that LD and Bradley are injured, but there is nothing JK can really do about that.

Not sure why he called up four keepers though?

    Removed in 64th minute:

    Brian Sciaretta@BrianSciaretta
Gatt injured RT: @Jkallmyr: injury. He made sign that he wanted off. Bad for the team.

I think the reason for the delay for the roster announcement was to see if Gatt was actually injured. I watched the match today and saw him call for a sub, but it didn't look like he was injured. I saw bshredder RT from a Norweigan source that he was injured, but it only cited that he called for the sub with no quotes or actual info to back it up. I would assume it was at worst a small tweak, or else he wouldn't have gotten the call this week.

I think the reason for the delay is that they are always late. So many people are reading way too much into this.

Nice to see Spector back. I'd like to see Chandler, but he's not going to win us
a World Cup and Spector will be young enough in 2 years to do a decent job there.

It just seems weird looking at that list of midfielders.

I have 100% trust in JK. He's our man. Just support him. We'll be fine.

He doesn't play until tomorrow. He'd be kinda useless this time around if he didn't see the field until weds.

Interesting to see Spector and Parkhurst, in addition to Cherundolo. Suggests that one or both might get a look somewhere other than RB.

Any time a player calls to be subbed? Not good. And if multiple people have said he's injured...also not good.

    Hope it's minor.

I doubt they held up the announcement for that, it just happened didn't it?

BTW, Gatt called for the sub after absolutely STEAMING by the whole Brann team, just a spectacular run by the kid. Laid the ball off well for the striker who just couldn't finish.
