I'm amazed how bad the team is this season. Its actually hard to believe. I guess next year we get the #1 draft pick! Are there good players next season? Some years are good ones and other years the pool of players to draft are low quality.
That last goal was 100% collective failure. Outside of a new stadium. I don't see any redeeming qualities of this club.

Fire Olsen and Ashton. This week. Let Nolan or Zach take the reigns as interim coach for a few weeks while the team hires someone new. Richie Williams wouldn't put out a team that performs this woefully. Nor would Denis Hamlett. Or give one of the college coaches a shot. We couldn't get Porter back in the day, but with the promise of opening a new stadium, maybe United could pull the coach at Stanford or Creighton.
I can't think of a single reason why Olsen is still on the bench. It's obvious that the team has completely abandoned him and don't respect him anymore. Just put anybody there FFS, the U23 coach, the U15 coach, anybody wouldn't do this bad.
You need to simply accept that this team sucks. Why would these players tank? So they can be out of a job next year? The team is awful. The coaching is awful. The front office is awful. The ownership is awful. Therefore, the product is awful. This isn't difficult to understand.
I had heard that MN had as bad a defense, if not worse, than DC. I was hoping against hope that Hamid might stop a shot or two, and Deshorn Brown might actually bag one or two. That's one of the ugliest shit-shows I think I've had the displeasure to watch DCU perform.
Naw, that would be LA FC, I would guess. Doesnt matter as we are so inept, we need about 7 or 8 replacement starters to even be competitive.

I havent gone to a home game at RFK during the last 2 seasons outside of the freezing cold season opener this year against KC (of which I left around the 65th minute because I was dying of boredom and frostbite). Just not value enough for my entertainment dollar.
We have proven beyond the shadow of a doubt that DC United out suxs Minnesota United and is unquestionably the worst club in MLS. The NY Cosmos and FC Miami were on Bein at the same time and either of those NASL teams were more than a match for United in all respects.
At halftime of our game, I switched over to that one for 15 minutes. They looked twice as good as we did.
Let Boswell run practice for a week and pick the team for Toronto. Get some perspective and step away, Benny. Just one week, I'm dead serious. He's lost them entirely, it finally happened. He has no ideas, no set plays, no tactical nous. Zero. Yes, they aren't good players, but my lord, it's quitter town on that staff.
I'm getting to the point where I think fans should organize a boycott protest for the stadium opener. Partially for the crap product on the field. And partially for the negative way in which they've disrespected the club's 22 year old supporter culture. Maybe embarrassing them on national TV would make them pay attention.
