Fair enough! Our designated player history is also up there, but all indicators so far seem to suggest that we've given away a high draft pick.
I'm starting to rethink who won in the Union-DCU, Ethan White-allocation spot, Maurice Edu transaction ...
Union traded Zach Pfeffer and allocation money for Josh Yaro. They also gave up Chaco Maidana to Houston..and in exchange Houston gave us allocation money, targeted allocation money, the draft pick that we used on Herbers, and were somehow convinced to take Andrew Wenger and his $200,000 black hole on the salary cap. Keegan was our "natural" draft pick. They got rid of Wenger and Pfeffer...and got Yaro and Herbers. Plus they wound up in the plus in allocation monies if I recall correctly. Really, the greatest day of wheeling and dealing in Union history. Which I understand isn't really saying much, but it is what it is.
At least we can beat the reserves: http://www.bethlehemsteelfc.com/news_article/show/773952?referrer_id=2449180
Okay Carnac, prognosticate the end of the Curtin era for us. Better yet, next win. Not sure which will be first.
So what's the record for fewest points in a season? Maybe that's the platinum standard we've been aiming for the whole time.
At this rate we'll be relegated by the 4th of July. Oh wait... I guess the silver lining is that the Union can't be relegated to the USL.
that's what I was thinking... although even a draw against Montreal seems optimistic... I watched the MTL v. ATL game this weekend, I think they will pick us apart.
