A neighbor picked up his Le Toux scarf yesterday and was, um, severely disappointed shall we say. They are the thin material like this year's free STH scarves, rather than knitted.

 

Glad I didn't buy them. Knew they would be chinsy and shit. At the same time can your really get that much detail on a knited scarf?

I'm not much of a scarf guy. Meaning I get them, fold them and put them away. I like having them. But they need to stop with those "summer scarves." They're bunk.

They have a thicker version of the summer scarf with some weight to it. They sell a few in the team shop. They are really nice and theoretically could have a lot of detail.

 

Summer scarves? Like the ones women used to wear in the 90s made of silk? Gah.

 

This would be the non-silk Sri Lankan sweatshop version.

If anyone might be interested, there's been a glut of 2011 white 3rd jerseys popping up on ebay this week. I picked one up for 29 bucks including free shipping that arrived today. Not sure if there's someone dumping their clearance stock (though there's a ton of sellers unloading them... mine came from somewhere in Ohio), but a good time to grab one seeing as though I've never once seen an adult-sized one for sale for less than 60 bucks, and they only made "player issue" shirts in adult size.
