KSA first asian team to qualify for the round of 16.Great second half from the youngsters.Hoping for Crotia-Nigeria match to be draw so thar our team rest some of its main players and go for draw and get first position in order to avoid Spain if we finish second in the group.

    Err.. no.

If we finish top, we meet one of the 3rd place teams, if we finish second we play the winner of group E (likely either Egypt or Brazil)

Guatemala is one of the weakest team in this U20 WC... Real test will be in the 2nd round where game against Nigeria will be part of preparation for the next round ...

    HT: 1-0 for Nigeria

If KSA loses or draws this match then they will face Brazil in the next round. (Which Saudi should avoid at this stage so KSA have to play the 2nd half of this match as a Semi-Final and give it all they got to win !!!)

    Saudi missed 2 90% goal chances ....

Something tells me that the 2nd half is going to be very exciting and full of goals ... just have to wait n watch ...

Well I think this is a good wakeup call. The passing and positioning was lazy in the first half. Bring on fahad al-Muwallad!

Aljohani is so Unimpressive. Lacks creativity and cant even be sensed in the game..Dagriri missed a chance but that shouldnt have been a reason to sub him..Now they got a couple of cautions..

Dagriri and Al-Muwallad is the best combination ... and both of them should start the match against Brazil ... Both players are creative ...

And Yes, Al Johani was not felt in the match and he didn't impress at all.

Moroever, Maan Al Khodari was also unimpressive ... Yasser Al Fahmi was better than Al Johani ...

Bro, he held the middfiled well enoough:confused:..

Abstly, fahmi is acutally creative in a sense.. And otayf man its seem like all his passes are just return balls..Highly unimpressive

So, now KSA faces Brazil in the round of 16 which will meet the winner of match between Spain and South Korea. No regrets as we had to meet tough opponents on either halves as if we had beaten Nigeria then we would have met England which is also a tough opponents.
Hope fully the team chalk downs it mistakes and take the best eleven players from the 3 matches and field them against Brazil.Even though we will not be the favourites,we should not lose so harshly that the impression made by the players in the group stage should not wipe off.

Bro, England is not tough as compared to Brazil & Spain. England is easy opponent for Saudi Arabia as compared to any of the above team.

Moreover, as Saudi Arabia will eventually lose against Brazil so there are 03 things that the Saudi Team on the field should keep in mind and be focused on:

    1. The best form of "Defense" is to "Attack" so, Saudi Arabia should play an attacking football with all their heart out ....
    2. Saudi Arabia will surely lose, however try not to concede too many goals and keep the loss margin to respectable level e.g., 2-Nil ...
    3. Saudi Mid-Field should pass the ball around (up-front), not by & at the back ... as Brazil are very dangerous upfront and can snatch the ball pretty easily ...

Once Saudi Arabia comes back to home after the defeat by Brazil 0-2(hopefully not lose with more than 2 goals) then the Saudi NT, the Technical Staff, the Coach and specially the Saudi FA should feel proud of their achievement (and don't sack the coach) and they should be given warm-welcome by the Saudis upon arrival at home...
