This is true. Uly was called up to the upcoming U-20 camp but had to withdraw due to injury.

Uly was called up for just the first 4 days of camp and would leave after the first game. de la Fuente also wasn't called up for the entire camp

I am struggling to find any info on his injury. 6 goals in 4 games? Wow. He started the season off so well... what a bummer.

I am always worried about our talented USYouth players w/ Mexican heritage until they are capped tied. Mexico lurks and poaches.

Yup... Uly, Araujo, Mendez, Ledezema.... Each failed to get a USMNT call up this October... but Aaronson gets the call? They need to cap-tie these players.

may be, but the US has no forward thinking about capping these kids now... then a couple years down the road we are left wondering where it went wrong.

How is egg gonna pitch to Dest that Holland is know for predatory caps and then go out and predatory cap 3 players lol.
Uhh not gonna get into league compassion but holland's 2nd division vs mls? lol

there are more elite potential players playing for the top 3/4 Jong teams in Holland than all of MLS combined.

it’s not only Dest who can make the step and if we roll forward 3-5 years from now and look to see which players make it to the majors/UCL, it’ll be proven true.

This should not and is not about cap tying players. Some of them are good enough to start getting experience in camps with the senior team. Simple as that.

A player like Pomykal should have an extremely quick integration into the full team, and some of these other youth players who are shining should be getting an initial taste sooner than later.

Believe me i think they are better than most of the players he calls up, but the point still is that shit aint free and at least let them get 2 league games with the first team before rewarding them with senior caps.

Agreed. I think U-23 for these guys until some first team matches. Honestly same for aaronsen.

And in this thread, how about we let the kid get healthy and play some games before we start saying anything at all. Like wtf else are we even talking about??

It seems like Uly is back. At least he is not listed as an absent player any more.

"Nicht zur Verfügung stehen Nico Vukancic und Manuel Polster, der sich beim Einsatz mit seinem österreichischen Nationalteam verletzte. "

"Not available will be Niko Vukancic and Manuel Polster, who injured himself on international duty with Austria."

Very quality find. Thanks so much for this.

Does anyone know whether U19 games are televised?

Uly came on late and helped turn around a 2-1 deficit with at least one goal. Wolfsburg won 3-2.

Two goals on his return. He’s a special player, hopefully he gets a shot at the first team soon.
