At half take off Jesse and put on Herrera or Fellaini and switch to three in the middle. Control possession and quit playing so open.

 

Yeah, definitely need another body in midfield. Preferably Herrera, but even Fellaini would do. Need more protection to the backline and control in the middle of the park.

Ever since Blind came on our back line is a mess. He's so slow that people have to leave their man to help him cover.

Our lack of finishing that has hurt us in the EPL is now doing the same in the EL. Three quarters through and we are all square and they have the momentum and we are looking vulnerable to a second.

Ibra and Jesse mostly annonymous, Carrick not doing the captains job we need and organising us in this horror show.

 

Get Captain Rooney on to save our season.

 

Carrick can no longer function that effectively in a mid 2, vs a mobile midfield. And paired with Pogba, only makes things worse in terms of our defensive shape.

 

Easy guys, you have this, I see couple of goals for you. Take Ibra out, bring Martial and move Rashford up top. I would even bring Fellaini for Carrick.

 

What is Carrick supposed to do? He only has Rashford as an outlet and he is partnered by Pogba in an unfamiliar role against a good midfield trio.

 

Would take out one of the front 4 (Lingard probably) for Herrera or Fellaini and keep Carrick on for now. His passing is still needed. Just needs some help and someone doing the harassing next to him and release Pogs forward.
