I am not shocked at all that the DFB was forced to follow the FIFA rules, it is not hard to understand really ?
Yeah... forget that it's 6 established U-19 names missing from Germany's U-20 squad, ignore how this suggests there's more going on behind the scenes than your own simplistic take on the fallout, and lets continue to push the narrative of Europe's strongest FA not truly understanding the basic regulations involved in mid season player submissions, to FIFA's various age group competitions. Yeah, there's never been a point in DFB history where they've had to deal with the kind daunting money and influence, possessed by global footballing giants aka Lyon's women's team, in hopes of gaining access to it's own players for mid season national team duty. Damn, honestly shlj.... if only there was some kind of cultural or historical stereotypes, that could better showcase the genuine irony involved with one of Germany's biggest institutions not being able to follow simple rules....

The Portuguese Football Fed. youtube channel posted highlights of the 2 matches of their team against Finland and Italy, both ended 1-1. Monday matches Italy-Finland and Portugal-Georgia will be decisive, so far Finland and Italy have both 4 points (and the same goal difference), Portugal 2 (but a much easier match to come) and Georgia 0.
Iceland and Ireland have also made it to the U17 elite round. Group 8 finishes today and Group 5 as mentioned by Gricio61 will finish on Monday England, Russia and Slovenia can go through in Group 8
Group 8 last matchday: Italy - Finland 0-0 Portugal - Georgia 7-0 Italy, Finland and Portugal ended all at 5 points, but I think that the first 2 are qualified for scoring 1 more goal...(at least, Italian coach twitted that they are through, so I suppose that's the rules) Quoting the UEFA website: "The winners and runners-up of the groups go through along with the required number of third-placed teams with the best record against the first and second-placed teams, to ensure there are 24 sides in the next phase." If it's so, Portugal could be out from the Elite Round, and the best 3th team of all the groups "should be" Russia, having 3 points against 2nd placed Slovenia, while Portugal has only 2 draws...
The UEFA website says Through to elite round: Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Denmark, England, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland. Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Rep. Ireland, Scotland, Serbia, Slovenia, Switzerland, Sweden, Wales. Portugal 1st Italy 2nd Finland 3rd. 14.01 If two or more teams in the same group are equal on points on completion of a mini-tournament, the following criteria are applied to the mini-tournament in question, in the order given, to determine the rankings: a. higher number of points obtained in the matches played among the teams in question; b. superior goal difference from the matches played among the teams in question; c. higher number of goals scored in the matches played among the teams in question; d. if, after having applied criteria a) to c), teams still have an equal ranking, criteria a) to c) are reapplied exclusively to the matches between the teams in question to determine their final rankings. If this procedure does not lead to a decision, criteria e) to i) apply; e. superior goal difference in all matches; f. higher number of goals scored in all matches; g. lower disciplinary points total based only on yellow and red cards received in the mini-tournament (red card = 3 points, yellow card = 1 point, expulsion for two yellow cards in one match = 3 points); h. higher position in the coefficient ranking list used for the qualifying round draw; i. drawing of lots. POR first because they scored two goals in the head to head to head games criteria c ITA and FIN totally equal d e f g which is crazy, england's group went to criteria e So Italy through on criteria g : ITA 1 +0 +2 FIN 2 +1 +3

Hungary 1 Serbia 0 Ireland 0 Scotland 0 Table 1. Hungary 4 pts 2-1 2. Ireland 4 pts 1-0 3. Scotland 2 pts 1-1 4. Serbia 0 pt 0-2 Serbia eliminated. Hungary v Ireland and Serbia v Scotland are the remaining games. Another one of those funny group where three teams could all finish with 5 points if Scotland beat Serbia and Hungary and Ireland draw.
U17 Elite Round group 4 Hungary 0 Ireland 1 Serbia 1 Scotland 2 Ireland win the group and are through to the winal in Czech Republic. Scotland are runner-up and will have two points and 0 goal difference in the runner-up table. "The 24 teams are drawn into six groups of four teams. The groups are played as one-venue mini-tournaments with the winners and the runners-up with the best record against the teams first and third in their section progressing to the finals to join the hosts." Scotland are very unlikely to qualify as any runner-up beating the third placed team in their group will be above them. Group 2,3 and 5 are up next week.
Denmark 2 Wales 0 Norway 2 Bosnia 1 1. Norway 6 pts + 8 2. Denmark 6 pts +3 3. Bosnia 0 pt - 2 4. Wales 0 pt -9
Scotland are eliminated from the best-runner-up race as the Group 2 runner-up up will finish with 3 or 4 points, depending on the Norway Danemark result. Group 5 starts today with Belgium v Greece and France v Russia
Norway wound up beating Denmark 6-1, and thus win the group I guess. This may have been posted already, but if not, a stream of the match – as well as all the other matches in the group – can be found here: https://mycujoo.tv/ch/348
Yes Norway win group 2 and qualify for the Elite Round. Danemark will have a hard time being best runner-up as their goal difference against teams ranked first and third is -3. France have won Group 5 with Russia and Belgium fighting for the runner-up place in the final game. In Group 3, it is the big one tomorrow with England v Germany, both teams have won their first game. Germany have scored 24 and conceded 8 in their last 5 games.
Group 3 results Poland 0 Italy 2 Germany 1 England 2 !!! incredible result, really suprising , England took advantage of an early mistake by the goalkeeper to open the score early, then doubled the lead with a volley from a long free kick. And gerany could only find one goal back and are close to going out
Yes I don't expect Italy to beat England, but I expected Germany to beat England easily as well... If Italy beat England and Germany beat Poland we will have 3 teams with 6 points and ranking would be determinated by the games between those three teams Germany 3 Italy 1 Germany 1 England 2 England v Italy Germany have a 4-3 goal difference England have a 2-1 if they lose they are finishing second/third Italy have 1-3 need to win by 4 to win the group Group 1 results Switzerland 2 Austria 0 Netherlands 3 Slovenia 0
