Not a surprise, PSG has turned it around. Why didn't Boulleau play these days? Also why didn't they split the 4 quarterfinals to 2 matches per day?
It's not rare, it's unique. First time it happens. PSG beats Bayern 4-0 while Wolfsburg manages to win, but only 0-1 so Lyon still goes through. Meanwhile, Barca wins 2-0 so they're through as well, leaving a Fortuna missing their entire left side (due to injuryu and visa issues) as the sole Scandinavian hope.
Well, you could argue that Bayern and Wolfsburg have some key players out with injuries. Anyway I agree that it's gonna be weird without a German team now. Who can stop Lyon is the obvious question now...
The editions of the tournament before it was re-titled as the Champions League are retroactively considered as Champions League. Same with the first WC in 1991. It wasn't called the WC back then, but is now regarded as the first WC.
Americans following along will be happy to know Alex Morgan put in a huge shift again, and her Blässe feud continued, although it ended somewhat anticlimactic when the German got sent off after getting her second yellow on a technicality (I'm not sure what but something silly like a foul throw or time-wasting or throwing the ball away) during overtime. 847187831776849924 is not a valid tweet id First yellow was for clobbering Morgan.
First yellow was toatally bogus (although side of that ref Mularczyk did a good job overall in this match), second one Blasse got for unsporting behaviour - throwing away the ball out of her frustration.
Barca-PSG should be a great series. Last year they met in the QFs, and the only reason PSG advanced was a single lone gaffe from the Barca keeper, as Barca managed to keep the series completely scoreless otherwise.
do you know why Andressa Alves & Olga Garcia didn't that's in part, 1) Germany's top team right now(based on league standings) is Turbine Potsdam. They've beaten Wolfsburg 1-0, 4-0, last two times those teams met. 2) Lyon bought 2 of Germany's best players; Marozsan & Bremer
here are high lights of the Lyon/Wolfsburg match. Lots of controversies in this one; Shouldn't of Hegerberg gotten a pk?. Shouldn't of Blasse gotten a red on that first foul on Morgan? But Wolfsburg came ever so close to equalizing this one with a couple of chances hitting the post shame there''s no full game replays out there, keeping a top quality game like this from the rest of the world just stop's interest from more developing an interest in woso, Also, even though the crowd is at 14K, it's kinda disappointing, since last year Lyon was able to get over 22K in one CL match, Alex Morgan was able to get over 23K in her debut game with the Pride
Thanks for posting! The first and third goals were a comedy of errors on the BM side. Just atrocious defending.
