What a thankful way to spend your Ultimate Turkey Day (Thanksgiving) morning by serving some REAL FOOTBALL, ahhhh.... so instead of watching that lip-synced bullshit Macy's Parade coverage possible featuring some Clear Channel/iHeartRadio sellout like Justin Bieber or Miley Cyrus (yuck!) Thursday morning, or The Price Is Right, watch this instead, this should, along with the big bird and all the fixin's, should be more palatable, just as long as we get all 3 points in the bag, so here is the rundown

Event: UEFA Europa League - Matchday 5
    Date: November 23rd, 2017
Combatants: FC Köln (Cologne) vs. The Arsenal
Place: Rhein-Energie Stadion, Köln (Cologne), Germany
Television: (US), Fox Sports 1 (FS1)
    (DISH Channel 150 SD/HD, DirecTV channel 219 SD/HD),
    (UK), BT Sport
Live Stream: BT Sport Website (UK), Fox Sports Go (US)
Kickoff: Time: 6 pm GMT/1 pm EST/10:00 am PST/7:00 am HST (for our old pal Goonermaui)

Boy billy goats have been known to cause havoc over the years, for instance, they kept the Chicago Cubs from winning the World Series for over 100 years until they finally won it all in 2016, and these goats also need to be put in their place. Now we've been in a great run of form so far in European play, and we're coming fresh from a HUGE Premier League win over Scums last Saturday at The Emirates, so I expect us to do the same here, away to struggling FC Köln (Cologne), who are currently buried in the basement in the Bundesliga table right now, so we SHOULD do the same thing to these guys that we did to The Chickens.

Post you thoughts and comments, and let's start a Happy Thanksgiving Day with the feast before the feast, THREE POINTS, and......

    COYF'n'G!!!

    Let's see:
    A) Knock-out qualification already guaranteed
    B) Playing a lowly German team whose glory days are well in the past
    C) Thurs 1pm ET kickoff
    D) Huge family holiday in USA

    Means that:
    1) Me, along with a lot of folks I suspect, are probably going to miss this one live
    2) This MD thread may have the all-time lowest total post-count... unless we lose 5-0 in which case it might just light up with positivity!

But we should return with nothing less than a result. Our B-team is nothing to sneeze at. And... "Let's Go Eddie!"

Well, at least I can go ahead and sleep in, I don't have to be up at 3:00 am like I was for the Derby vs. Scums, as this match does not start until 10:00 am here on the west coast (Pregame show on FS1 starting at around 9-9:30-ish) COYF'n'G!!!

Now a thing about billy goats you probably didn't know....

BTW, you know I have heard that in some countries, goats are a pretty good delicacy, kind-of what deer would be, I HAVE had stew made out of deer meat before, when I worked over at NAVMAG Indian Island down the road from me down in Port Hadlock, WA, it does taste pretty good, and they do have jerky made out of it, or elk, or just about anything else with four legs and hoofs on them.

I'm watching the game because I'd rather watch Arsenal than the NFL, but WTF is this 4th kit we're wearing today??

Our 2nd shirt and white shorts with a teal stripe down the side??

I'll bet the Big HMW doesn't have a pair of those

They aren't playing poorly but why are Debuchy and Chambers flipped in positions?

Good half. AMN, Jacky Boy, Danny. In cotrol, Generally, the final ball has been speculative or poor, though.

Wenger sure Loves his unskilled, unauthentic donkey MF, with El Nenny and Coq.

    Denilson FOREVER! :(

El Nenny passes in the box have been Awful.

JWF was clearly fouled in the box.

Wenger once again lost the plot. Clearly a MF that is dominant is not an important thing for him.

Naturally of course there will be no consequences whatsoever on this clown.

We lost a game, but still won the group while playing the scrubs. Thus keeping the first XI fresh for a rough Christmas fixture list.

Right. Play the youth and play some key players in their actual positions
This game allows for a lot of experimentation.
ANN and JFW in MF, Iwobi at 10, one or two of Nelson or Eddie on the forward line

One of chambers or Debussy but not both.

The announced lineup took the wind out of the sails before the first kick off. He isn’t even trying to experiment or be creative or develop players.
