Arslanagic would be an idiot to play for Belgium, he wouldn't get a start in a million years. He'd have to compete with Vertonghen, Lombaerts, Kompany, and Aldeweireld, all of which are better than Spahic.

And a collection of good players doesn't always equal a great team. Plenty of examples of that, Serbia being the perfect one. In Belgium's case though, it does. They have been good.

We were outplaying Columbia until a mistake by a first-time (that's what friendlies are for) fullback cost us a goal. After that, we still had more than enough chances to at least get a draw (we hit the woodwork twice).
Which is not to say that Columbia did not deserve their win, but scorched is a word I would reserve for a performance in which the opponent is thoroughly and completely outplayed. That was not the case in that friendly.

I felt that Colombia grossly outclassed you , perhaps you had a bad day or they had a really good day but that is my opinion after watching the entire game , and I dont have a bias towards either side really

 

Well, Columbia outplayed Belgium - end of story. I watched the match and Columbia had so many chances - could've been embarrassing for you.

 

on paper but not in practice , look at colombias starting line up even without Falcao they are excellent , not to mention peckerman has proved to be among the best coaches in SA

 

I wouldn't call this a performance where you "grossly outplayed" us. Japan who beat us 3-2 a few days later was actually more deserving of that description, as that score-line actually flattered us.

sorry my friend I like the belgian team and in fact I will support them in the WC but Im just stating my opinion

 

very impressive a ton of pace and technical ability , and a disciplined veteran back line, id rather play portugal than Colombia
