I'm sorry to say but regardless of our small problems it seems we have a bigger one in Diawara literally hiding from his duties when we have the ball, he should be dictating play or at least be visible for the pass in a deep position - right now his teammates can't find him for the short pass.

Starting Milik today over Mertens was a big mistake becuase Shaktar leave open space

We looked pretty midfieldless against Atalanta in the first half. Wait until the entire game is over, I will say Diawara was bad that first half but that is what happens when you have young players, they are inconsistent and thats when they are getting playing time, even worse when they are constantly on the bench.

 

Milik is useless. Can't even score from corners. What else can he do? Poor shot, bad movement and no skill.

 

Napoli will come out better this second half, it cant get worse.

 

Agree. We should wait. Jorginho has been tired but he is our best midfielder. Hamsik should have been benched.

Its not fair to compare Diawara to Jorginho since Jorgy from what I'm looking at is our actual captain while hamsik just wears the band. Hamsik and Zielinski haven't done much to help Diawara today at all.

 

Compared to Mertens anyone can look bad lol. Milik is a decent player and will only get better, same with Hysaj but questions can be asked whether it is good enough to start for the current Napoli team.

 

The real captain is Reina just because he's the only who opens his mouth to get this team fired up. Hamsik never was or has been the captain type, just a good player. The whole team has looked frantic and sloppy, they want everything to be perfect and clean instead of working toward a result, they are uncomfortable, that Shaktar crowd clearly working against us. I expect a better half, Mertens should be subbed in, Milik spoils way too many chances

 

This is what happens when you dont spend to improve on your weaknesses

And jorginho is our best midfielder, aways at least 7/10 performances from him
