a 3-0 win at home would be amazing.... Id take any victory at home over losing both legs... I dont care if we dont advance I just want to see a team that played with their hearts.
3-2 would be even better, Mertens misses a very good chance and Callejon strays offside. What could of been!! Tough from here but we are still in it.
damn 0:1 and i was like...., whoop whoop. you guys can score 3 goals at home. and damn again putana di merda, you almost made the 3:2. fock real, puta madrid!!!!!

Good experience for him in the long term. Yous have a chance in the second with the early goal and play all out. They're efficient but not the team of old.
I thought Diawara looked good, liked he belonged on the field. Zielinski wasn't quite as good, but I don't think he was a disaster. For their ages and experience, I thought they both had positive performances. Hsyaj and Koulibaly were awful. Really disappointing from Koulibaly. He looked clueless, overmatched and lost.
Koulibaly was bad (at fault for 2nd goal) but Albiol looked like a liability every time a cross went in. Just watching the second goal, no way Benzema gets in behind albiol to head that in. He's not even that tall, don't know how albiol gets out jumped. The quicker maksimovic learns our tactics and improves his defending the better. Hysaj was bad, also doesn't help he offers nothing going forward. Diawara was our best midfielder by a big margin, he needs to start the second leg but not with zielinski. We need to use the next few weeks to improve our defending as a unit because yesterday every single time a cross went in I thought RM would score. Literally every single time. Its no wonder we have barely had any clean sheets the past few months. We shore up our defence we stand a chance of beating RM. I've seen RM at away games, they aren't as strong especially when getting jeered everytime they touch the ball. They lost against wolfsburg 2-0 last year so I'm still very optimistic we can win at San Paolo. Early goal and the tie is in our hands. We can't have ADL being an idiot though, what the f*ck was he thinking with that post game interview??
Will Sarri be gone after this year? They are saying on the Rai that he and De Laurentis aren't seeing eye to eye.... Maurizio Sarri defends Napoli after harsh criticism from owner De Laurentis
Its typical behavior from ADL, I think Sarri's position will depend on the remainder of the season. Personally I can't see him gone which is good. I think the 2nd leg of the tie will be crucial too
Even though I understand your frustation it is definetely Hysaj's job to follow his man (in this case Benzema) and finish his marking on him - he just let him run leaving Albiol alone with Ronaldo and Benzema. Hysaj is only 22 so there's room for improvement. Diawara was amazing against Real, by far his best match for Napoli.
Zielinski over Allan was the big mistake in this leg, we won't have much choice in the 2nd leg because he got injured unfortunately
Albiol looked bad when Maggio was playing. I agree with you. Sarri needs to play Rog now. We have a lot of big games coming up.
Yeah I might be too harsh on Albiol because CR7 and benzema were left unmarked, but I still think he was poor aside for the rest of the game. I think its too big a risk for zielinski to play the return leg although he might be key for us to take the game to them. Ideally Rog has the characteristic to fill in but we know thats not going to happen. Varane is out for the return leg, could be a good thing unless it means the return of pepe. I'd start Milik up top, with mertens getting the nod over insigne (this also probably won't happen) and callejon ofc. We can't have midgets up top against a team like RM
Is someone gonna make a new thread? I dont wanna do it cause I equal bad luck lol Napoli: Reina; Hysaj, Raul Albiol, Koulibaly, Ghoulam; Allan, Diawara, Hamsik; Callejon, Mertens, Insigne Napoli bench: Rafael, Jorginho, Maggio, Maksimovic, Zielinski, Rog, Milik Real Madrid: Navas; Carvajal, Ramos, Pepe, Marcelo; Kroos, Casemiro, Modric; Bale, Benzema, Cristiano Ronaldo
