Big match for Drogs goes tomorrow at Dalymount Park. Should be a good one - and maybe they can nab a result at home. Playing in Kiev, though, I fear could be a different prospect.

It's too bad they didn't open up the terrace behind the net there. It looks like it would be a lot of fun watching from that location.
Well, Kiev were a class apart, but Drogheda will be gutted - they were so close to pulling off a major European result. In the last ten minutes, it looked more like Drogheda could go on to win it even. They worked so so hard and deserve a lot of credit. Who knows, maybe they can bag a draw in Kiev and boost their coefficient further. Think Ewings has to take some blame for the goal, though we was brilliant otherwise. He was beaten at his near post.
Congratulations to Drogheda who really put it up to Kyiv last night. Drogheda always tried to play football and deserve every credit for taking the game in as much as possible to a fine Kyiv side. The Hut in Phibsboro was buzzing after the game !
Bit gutted as we deserved more than what we got but proud at the same time. Yeah Jamie was very dodgy on both goals but so was their keeper on ours!!

Drogheda had TWO golden chances to win right at the death, but the ball just wouldn't cross the line. FT Dynamo Kiev 2-2 Drogheda United. Kiev go through 3-2 on aggregate. Still, Drogheda bow out of Europe with their heads held high.
wow, a great effort by the drogs . irish clubs have been steadily improving over the last years and need just a bit of luck to pull of an upset like this could have been to significantly improve their ranking and seeding .
OH MY GOD, how didnt that ball cross the line, soo soo unlucky wat a fantastic gritty performance against a side who i doubt will come anywhere close to Spartak Moscow, Kiev looked like they were still on holidays, i never thout id see the day when an irish club would be disappointed with a 2-2 draw in Kiev, maybe irish clubs in the group stages isnt such a crazy prospect anymore, 3 cheers for drogheda tonite did the Eircom League proud
How did we not win after that finish?????????? Gutsy is how I'd describe it. Roddy Collins is not welcome in Drogheda anymore.
He was very dismissive of the whole performance over the the two legs and generally putting the whole league down. The guy is a muppet thriving on a little controversy.
