Ok,movin' on.Now we'll face another challenge and I think we have conditions to win UEFA Cup,if we play like with our best parts.

We'll match against Lens at Round-of-32,then if we move on,we'll face Artmedia or Levski Sofia at Round-of-16.

I believe Cosmi wil try to put a serious focus at UEFA Cup since our drop at UCL made a bad vision about him...

Udinese will be playing Lens and I don't think Udinese has a chance. With Cosmi gone and Sensini now as coach, I can't see any cause for a change. Udinese drew 1-1 with Lazio and lost at home to Reggina. That doesn't necessarily give you a lot of confidence.

Lens knocked out Sampdoria. I predict the same for this tie unless Udinese can surprisingly lift their game.

Udinese is leading Lens at half-time 1-0 thanks to a Di Natale goal.

Udinese win the first leg 3-0 and are in pole position to go to the next round.

I'm surprised that Udinese won but 3-0? Dio mio! What's next?

Iaquinta only played for the last six minutes too. A good performance by the Friulani but who knows what will happen in the second leg, especially with Udinese.

Yeah, and I like the Natale - Rossini duo,but I would prefer a Barreto - Natale...of course when Iaquinta returns we'll finally play with 2 solid fowards and without stupid discussions between Natale/Michele against the coach.

Barreto is showing off what he can do.I think he'll become a top striker in some years...good for us.

I haven't watched a lot of Udinese's Serie A matches so can you explain why David Di Michele is now at Palermo?

Because Cosmi always put Udinese with a 3-5-2 formation. When Spaletti was our coach we usually played with 3-4-3 or even when we played with a 3-5-2,Di Natale was a LMF(like Jørgensen before).

So a fight between Cosmi and Michele/Natale started since one of them was benched. The solution made by Pozzo was the loan of one of them - and di Michele was chosen.

Udinese had 6 strikers at the beginning of season and 5 of them could be starters (Iaquinta,Michele,Natale,Barreto and Rossini),and when Udinese played 3-4-3 (like against Sporting at CL) the trio was Barreto-Iaquinta-Natale.

Cosmi made some stupid fights and that's why Udinese didn't played well IMO.I say that because Udinese really plays better when they "can't" lose, specially at Coppa Italia and UEFA Cup now.

    Thanks for that Bonizzoni.

It's a pity because I would have preferred Di Michele to stay in Friuli. I suppose that's what happens when you have a nut like Cosmi as coach. He was a good coach at Perugia but he didn't do your team justice and like always, his temper and mentality was too much.

If I was coaching Udinese, I'd play Di Michele-Iaquinta-Di Natale. I prefer an All-Italian attack and Di Michele used to play for Reggina so that's why I would want him in the side.

Udinese still progress despite losing. On the UEFA website's match summary, Lens had 22 shots whereas the Friulani didn't have a single clearcut chance. Interesting.

Levski Sofia have had a good run so far in the UEFA Cup and aside from the 3-0 win against Lens, Udinese's form hasn't been worth bragging about. Udinese will be in for a tough one.

0-0 in Udine. Levski, according to the reports on the UEFA website, are confident of snatching a win in Sofia. It wouldn't surprise me though considering how Udinese has been playing of late. Udinese better lift their game and get into gear. IMMEDIATELY!

    I expect a 1-1 or 2-2 draw away.Probably with Udinese scoring first.

Or nice excuse for someone who made stupid things along the season.

Pozzo always made a right job,but now IMO he f*cked up.Udinese doesn't have a play-maker,doesn't have a true RMF and may lose some players. And worst of all,we started with some chances at CL and now are fighting aainst relegation.

But Udinese can bounce Levski Sofia...
