Laugh all you want, but despite the bedwetting that goes on here week after week, Mourinho has us firmly in second place in the league -- top four truly being done dusted -- and in a fantastic position to move on to the CL quarterfinals. Yet some here are fixated on meaningless stats, such as possession and passes completed percentages. Is it not better to be fixated on victory?

jose seems to imply that zlatan has been fit for some time - he's been back to full training for close to a month - but doesn't feel "ready" to contribute. my take: zlatan was told that he would be lukaku's back up and is too proud to go out like that. given the level of respect between him and jose, he's been allowed to still train with the first team in preparation of his move to l.a. galaxy in july.
Early rumors indicating that Pogba will make the squad for today's game. I guess if that is legitimate, the question is whether he's fit to start.
A pretty good take. Maybe Ibra is fit or maybe he's not. But what we do know is that Lukaku is in white hot form and there's no reason to bring back Ibra right now. And if Ibra is out of the picture, in anticipation of a move to LA Galaxy, it still can't hurt to have Ibra at the ready in case anything does happen to Lukaku and we somehow find ourselves in a CL semifinal tie. With top four being done and dusted -- which I can't imagine even JamesA disputing now -- we don't need Ibra for EPL action. We don't need Ibra for FAC action. The only conceivable action we might need him for is a massive CL tie and even then, only if Lukaku is out with injury or suspension.
Seems like Pogba is set to return with McT making the way for him. The rest of the lineup is the same as Saturday.
DDG, Valencia, Smalling, Bailly, Young, Matic, Fellaini, Lingard, Alexis, Rashford, Lukaku. That midfield pairing is atrocious. No speed or mobility to speak of.
Subs: Romero, Darmian, Lindelof, Mata, McTominay, Pogba, Martial. We've got enough speed in the front four. And it looks like Jose is looking for the team to impose itself physically and in the power dept in midfield vs N'Zonzi and Banega. Plus with Pogs probably not 100%, Fellaini is simply more of a threat offensively than McTominay is. Nothing to reject offhand and I'm curious to see how it develops. We've got some potent weapons on the bench, in case don't go as planned. Sevilla's XI: Rico, Mercado, Kjaer, Lenglet, Escudero, N'Zonzi, Banega, Sarabia, Vazquez, Correa, Muriel
because jose amde a point of saying that he was healthy and that it was up to him to decide whenever he would be available...
Fellaini is a downgrade on McT @ DCM. Don't mind the work he can sometimes do in the oppo half, but Fellaini better stay the hell away from making any tackles in / around our own penalty area - especially with a euro ref. Sanchez owes us a performance, this would be the ideal time and the other forwards have been in good form. Lets do this
