This referee has ruined the tie. He got himself in trouble my giving out soft bookings. There's almost no way that the game finishes 11 v 11.

 

Draxler Verrati are too good in beating press and close up play is top notch. We only have Pogs.

 

Martial just hasn't been able to get into the game at all so far.

 

Martial is killing us. He's been awful.

 

Lingard down ...

 

2nd or 3rd time Martial has killed the counter.

 

Almost HT and we have been second best at everything. No genuine midfield or forward play .

 

Lingard off Sanchez in ...

 

Lingard looks to be done for... Sanchez coming on. Could this be the game he comes thru for us?

 

HT: 0-0. Disappointing half from United, with PSG keeping things well in control so far.

 

I’m at work and can’t watch but it sounds like this is turning into a sh*tshow not entirely of our making.

 

None of the front three hit their levels, Martial especially bad.

Worry about this ref, though some of the bookings were stupid from the players concerned. Hope the ref doesnt turn the game ...... unless it is for us

 

Only managed to start watching around 15 mins in. We’ve been really disappointing with our final ball. Martial has had a shocker, Lingard has been sloppy and Rash’s hold-up has been poor. We’ve let PSG get a hold of this match, which ********s up our plan of getting right up them and capitalising on the state of their play out of the defensive third.

Now we’ve got lots of running with nothing to show for it, Lingard off, Martial having pulled up and a number of yellow cards in key positions. We’ll likely lose our pressing game this half and PSG will gain more time on the ball.

 

Martial needs to up his game big time.. Same for Rashford and hopefully Sanchez can bring experience and hold the ball up in PSG halfs or in final third.

The press upfront is pretty much down to Rashford now, unless Sanchez can turn back the clock. Need him to, badly.
