Barca-PSG rigged? You couldn't rig that if you tried. -- Anyway, some ratings: WhoScored: 9.1, second best after Aubamayang Eurosport: 8, third best after Auba and Dembele ESPNFC: 9, second best after Auba Mirror.uk: 8, tied with Dembele and behind only Auba Fear The Wall (SBNation): 9, MOTM Kicker (reverse 1-7 scale): 2, second-best behind Auba Daily Mail: 8, tied for second with Wiegl behind Auba
If you are referring to 32/33' segment, fox soccer 2 go - where I was watching - had a replay which clearly showed Dembele looking left, right at Pulisic and declining to pass when there was nothing but daylilght ahead of Pulisic who was unguarded while Dembele had a guy or two all over him. Dortmund are paying this guy how much to make sure he keeps them mid table? Pulisic looked tired at 70' when he should have been subbed out instead of Dembele because he had run very long distance and was ripe for injury. Dembele actually has incredible stamina. I think he could play double headers.
If you point out his bad plays, you must also recognize all the amazing plays he makes, which more than outweigh the bad. Tons of assists and goals. He is not the problem. The defense has kept them behind of where they should be.
BVB are an offensive team that puts a lot of pressure on their defense. "he has a lot of bad plays but look at the good ones" doesn't cut it at this level. You are describing a mid table team which is where Dembele belongs. He's second rate.
BVB are an "offensive team" mostly because of Dembele. He has 8 goals and 14(!) assists. Stats aren't everything, unless you have stats like this.
Well W/L/D/GF/GA That is the comparison of 34 game 2015/2016 season with season so far They gave up a goal a game previous season. This season 27 goals in 23 games, a little worse but not much. They scored about 2.5 goals per game last year and this season it's about 2 1/4 goals per game. You'd think the defence would have suffered with loss of their captain but not so much as loss on offense. The biggest difference is in winning versus losing. You wouldn't think the difference in stats would translate to such poor performance but in order to equal last season's record (almost) your boy Dembele will have to win the remaining 11 games! They will have to average 3 goals a game to equal same goals scored total. I think there's a saying something like "they didn't take their chances"...........obviously Hummels and Mikitarian were winners and Dembele is a loser.
