Well our Persian Gulf league is alright but your spin off seems rather weird when Al Ain is not on top, I was looking for Al Ain participating in ACL this time around. Esteghlal fans have some good memories with # 6. It reminds them of pleasant times. They are fond of Omar Abdul Rahman...:D

we are the spin off when Karemi won the AFC MVP award as a player in that league anyways that rope you are holding is burning your hands so let it go and lets move on from that :D

as for Al Ain are you a fan of them or something cuz I feel they are back where they belong with lil Omar who is becoming so full of himself & hopefully the league ends up with the same team who is currently on top.

btw Al Ain are competing a substitute for Al Ahli Karemi's former team
cuz they are ineligible after merging Al Shabab & Dubai club to Al Ahli and becoming Shabab Al Ahli

but it seems that you are bagging on who is known as Iran's boss Esteghlal loss from Al Ain, tbh it was a shocking result cuz Iraninan team known to be tough teams to score against. so out of respect of this man I won't laugh at their pain.

look at Karemi & co. watching the ball shaking the net with their half empty stadium, funny how they want to claim Dubai when 80% of it is yellow (4-0 full time result should've won the league that season but Khalid Darwish & Alireza Vahedi missing the final four eliminated Al Wasl)

Khalid Darwish was like Omar Abdulrahman in term of playing style but never had his chance with the NT until late in his career in 2007 cuz they were busy hyping Ismail Matar & Al Ain players, he is he probably was the best playmaker in the league at that time

    Last season final standing:
    1. Al Jazira
    2. Al Wasl
    3. Al Ahli
    4. Al Ain
    5. Al Wahda (president cup winners)

    Current season standing: (so far)
    1. Al Wasl
    2. Al Ain
    3. Al Wahda
    4. Shabab Al Ahli
    5. Al Nasr

MAHDI ALI APPOINTED AS MANAGER OF SHABAB AL AHLI TO REPLACE COSMIN OLAROIU

Former UAE National Team manager Mahdi Ali replaced Cosmin Olaroiu after the latter left Shabab Al Ahli Club on Saturday evening by mutual consent. This move comes after Shabab Al Ahli failed to challenge for the UAE Arabian Gulf League title in the first half of the 2017/18 season, failing to win in the six weeks.

During those six winless weeks, Shabab Al Ahli managed an unprecedented feat by drawing in every single game and currently sit in fifth place with 15 points, seven behind league leaders Al Wasl.

Cosmin Olaroiu has overseen Shabab Al Ahli (previously Al-Ahli Dubai) since July 2013, after he left fierce rivals Al Ain to join the Dubai based club. During his time there he won seven titles, including the league trophy twice.
