Final group games were played today

    Group A

    UAE 3:0 Bahrain

UAE progress in 2n'd place, Saudi top the group. Bahrian go into 5/6th place playoff

    Group B

    Kuwait 1:3 Qatar

From my understanding, head to head will now be used as all 3 teams finish on 3 points.

Qatar therefore top the group, Kuwait come 2nd and Oman 3rd.

Although, i could be proven wrong until official information comes through.

The semi-final lineup is as following:

    Saudi Arabia : Oman
    Qatar : UAE

    5th place playoff

It's obvious the UAE have one of the best youth systems in Asia right now. I think they'll win this Gulf Cup edition, once again. :)

Our youth system is awful, I'm afraid. :(

The least we should have done was win against Bahrain.

ASPIRE finally seems to be producing some results. Although I'm afraid we're not yet on par with Saudi Arabia's youth teams. Even last year, Qatar were completely outplayed in the final against Saudi Arabia though they went to penalties. I won't be surprised of a repeat especially taking into consideration Saudi's 5-0 thrashing of Kuwait.

Saudi Arabia the champions again, defeating Qatar 1:0

UAE came third beating Kuwait 1:0 aswell.

There's now been 9 championships played and Saudi have been winners or runners up in each edition.
