I can't help but think there are major swaths of the country that aren't being properly scouted. Almost all of the players are from MLS academies OR from markets with an MLS team. There's one kid from Wisconsin,one from Tampa and one from Austin (which, for now, still isn't an MLS market). There are only 19 MLS markets in the US yet they're providing the vast majority of the players here. Surely there are more players in Florida or the Carolinas (there is a kid from Greensboro with is with Sporting KC) or Michigan or Arizona or St. Louis or Tennessee, etc... It's great that MLS is finding and developing these kids but I don't feel like we're looking much beyond that net and I'd like to see it cast wider.
Word is he's injured. Saw a tweet from Travis Clark to that effect. And I think @ussoccer97531 mentioned it somewhere.
