The guy seems to have no issue quickly getting a shot off when the space opens up. I like that. edited since bshredder beat me to posting his own tweet. eta2: To show my contrition and ability to still contribute value, I'lladd to whomever posted the highlight vid tweet the cut-up below. it's worth watching the longer version.

Nah... Subotic Rossi never played for the USA and never wanted to. Boyd played for New Zealand quite a bit.
This could be incorrect considering it was in Turkish, but I read on Twitter that he picked up another yellow card yesterday and due to accumulation that was his last game of the season.
That sounds right. I found this article about Bernard Mensah from earlier this season that mentions that the Turkish league gives out yellow card suspensions after the 4th. Mensah was suspended for the next game. Boyd picked up his fourth yellow in that last game, so his club season is over.
I also just scrolled through his Instagram for the first time, and I hadn't ever realized that he's ********ing built. https://www.instagram.com/p/BxQFcMGFjZE/?igshid=1wm4f9mmbtrv2 This dude isn't getting pushed off the ball easily.
Tyler Boyd could have played his last game for Ankaragücü as he is suspended for Sundays game with Goztepe!14 games 6 goals 4 assists for the 24 year old American international winger.Whoever signs him at the end of the season has talented young player! 🇺🇸 pic.twitter.com/4ghw8sgZJQ— Ankaragucu-Iskocya (@Kankagroup) May 22, 2019
A brand new interview with ASN on his breakout season and filing the one-time switch to make himself eligible to play for the USMNT
“It was the coach, Gregg Berhalter, who contacted me,” Boyd said. “We sort of started the process of seeing if I was eligible...It surprised me. It's been my dream for the last few years to represent the U.S. and I believed that with hard work and good performances that it could be a possibility. Now it is a possibility - if I'm chosen. So, I was playing pretty well in Turkey and I was scoring goals. I'm very happy that FIFA accepted it and now I'm looking forward to making that dream come true, if that's possible. I've made the one-time switch and now I'm an American soccer player.”
Just hit me. He's got a little Demps in him. He just tries shiite. No fear either going into challenges.
Not surprisingly, I am hearing a bunch of the bigger Super Lig teams in Turkey are interested in Boyd
I’m sure the bigger clubs are less of a problem but I once had a conversation with Bobby Boswell about playing in Turkey... it can be the wild west over there... getting paid in cash, not getting paid if you lose.. etc.. etc... I’m, as a general rule, wary of anyone playing there.
To be fair, there are also plenty of horror stories regarding playing in Portugal and getting paid. And to date, Boyd has only played in Portugal and Turkey. But I agree, I think Boyd is good enough for better Euro leagues which don't have the problems you are referring to.
For sure. Those types of problems are not limited to Turkey by any stretch of the imagination, though Turkey probably takes on the “wild west” feel more than others. (Like players packing and players getting robbed/paid in cash etc etc). It’s actually a consideration I think many feel to appreciate when they are talking MLS vs Europe. There is a lot to be said for living/working in the United States where your contract might not be the biggest but its going to be paid. It’s going to be paid correctly and regularly and if there is a problem you have the redress of the U.S. judicial system.
