In all seriousness, if he really wants to learn the language, he should do a homestay with a talkative non-English speaking family for about 6 months.
Kicker reporting that Tyler Adams will be in RB Leipzig's 18 on Saturday against Christian Pulisic and Borussia Dortmund. https://t.co/gLzP9EUcF4— Brian Sciaretta (@BrianSciaretta) January 17, 2019
I would hope they would never think like that. I love Adams but he doesn't have thousands of BL minutes under his belt and he's only 5 months younger.
I guess so. One game as a starter and Adams looked so good that there have been comments that he is now the the greatest american player at the moment.
We got to see his pluses not his minuses because Fortuna really played weak. I just watched the first 20 minutes and the all touch vid but I don't think I saw Fortuna get possession in RB's defensive half a single time.
A lot of that was because of the press and Adams was a huge part of that. Guy has a real knack for surprising tackles.
The impression that I've heard echoed around from the German media is that he looked it was his hundredth Bundesliga match. Can't ask for any more than that on your debut.
4 - On Sunday, Tyler Adams became the fourth different RB Leipzig player to tally 9+ duels won, 9+ recoveries and 70+ touches in a #Bundesliga match this season. Debutant. #DieRotenBullen pic.twitter.com/dw2GcAmK6P— OptaJack⚽️ (@OptaJack) January 28, 2019
BS in need of anti-psychotic medications: Two impressive starts in a row: I predict a toxic mix of: 1) horrible competition, we won’t know his true skill until he plays against x. 2) He is now projected to be such a dominating USMNT player that Pulisic retires and Donovan and Dempsey proactively give him the highest scoring US player honor. 3) He won’t realize his full potential unless at RB or alongside one or both of the Toronto midfielders 4) of he was at Trinidad he would have saved us. 5) unsurprising thread derailment: Donovan should have/have never been left off the 2014 WC roster and JK is evil/genius for doing so. Enjoy!
I didn't see Tyler exchange pleasantries with Bobby Wood after today's game. Are they both shy? Do they know each other?
Tyler Adams has made the most impressive immediate transition from MLS to a major European league since Landon Donovan with Everton in 2010.
How many more performances like his first two before someone goes through these threads to name and shame the Tyler Adams haters?
One of the really good guys, Daryl Grove of Total Soccer Show, went to hospital with stomach pains only to learn he has colon cancer. He's a big fan of Tyler Adams GoFundMe here https://www.totalsoccershow.com/total-soccer-show-podcasts/ latest onUSMNT, preview of Costa Rica here https://www.totalsoccershow.com/total-soccer-show-podcasts/
"At the moment " doesn't do him justice. After two games as a starter, let's upgrade that to "now and for the foreseeable future."
