He looks good out there....announcers said he plays like a 10 year bundesliga vet. I agree. Hard to believe he's only just 19 and in his first few games with his new team... NITPICK ALERT one thing I think he can work on is not making the easy predictable pass every time....especially while attacking...there were several times when a more dangerous but harder to see pass was there but he just made the safe and simple one.....the next level for him will be when he can start to rip defenses open with lethal passes more often....
Tyler himself said that part of the reason he is feeling comfortable is that he plays in the same system now he played with the Red Bulls (NY). That probably has helped him feel comfortable and play with confidence.
F them. Kid is a starter at central midfield for the third place team in the 1.BL. He ain't standing out as an exception to the other players on the field in either direction.
Yeah, where's the hat trick, right? If his teammates were considered better, I'd take some issue. TA was at least as good as his teammates, and better than a few of them...
Gulacsi (3) - Klostermann (2) , Konaté (4) , Orban (2,5) , Halstenberg (2,5) - T. Adams (4), Kampl (3) - Sabitzer (3) , Laimer (4) - Matheus Cunha (4,5) , Y. Poulsen (3,5) those rankings are very odd.....what were they watching? or were they watching???
we care way too much about kickr ratings on this website imo. with that said, Tyler was better than a 4, and those ratings suck!!!
The only rating that matters for Tyler right now is his manager's. He seems to be doing alright on that front.
Kicker loves Yanks, they created a special ranking just for Bobby Wood. Take off the non-sexy-country-of-origin tax and Tyler has a 3 like Kampl & Sabitzer. Seems fair.
Wood got a 5! He was stellar by Kicker standards. That being said, a 4 is mediocre, not terrible. But, the relative player ratings of the last RB Leipzig game was odd, IMHO. Tyler is a stud no matter the rankings. He has done what no other young guy has done. Direct from MLS to a starter (at least in the rotation) in a big 4 top team.
I know that. Bobby is Mr. 6 normally. Adams is Mr. 3, so, yeah, a 4 for Adams is below par for him. But a 4 is not terrible. A 5 is terrible and a 6 is beyond worthless.
