had the day off today and spent all day watching the goal and celebrations I don't think Ive seen a team celebrate a tournament win with so much passion . This win meant everything to us after all of the near misses. Also seeing Euro 2004 images no longer hurt nearly as much, one of the beautiful things about this win is I feel like it erased a lot of the pain I still carried from 2004. This is exactly what happened to Brazil when they lose in 1950 at home, but then won their first WC beating the host nation in the final (1958 , Sweden) We did the exact same thing maybe now we will go on to win more titles just like Brazil did.
