had the day off today and spent all day watching the goal and celebrations

I don't think Ive seen a team celebrate a tournament win with so much passion . This win meant everything to us after all of the near misses.

Also seeing Euro 2004 images no longer hurt nearly as much, one of the beautiful things about this win is I feel like it erased a lot of the pain I still carried from 2004.

This is exactly what happened to Brazil when they lose in 1950 at home, but then won their first WC beating the host nation in the final (1958 , Sweden) We did the exact same thing maybe now we will go on to win more titles just like Brazil did.

I still find it hard to believe, that goal by Eder to win the cup is something right out of Fifa hahahah.

I'm rewatching all the games and I'm at vs Hungary. It has to be said that Mario didnt get enough praise. The guy played his heart out, excellent movement, passing, dribbling, he played amazing

    are you surprised?

before the tournament and the first round everyone said Patricio sucks, Joao Mario sucks, Adrien sucks, William sucks and Danilo is better

then Portugal gets its shit together in the KO rounds precisely when Santos decides to stick with starting all four Sporting players

it was reminiscent of Scolari in 2004 when after the opening loss to greece he put the FC Porto core on the field and we reached the final and lost

only difference was this time we were CAMPEOES
