Leicester vs Manchester United will be at 2:45 PM this Saturday on NBC. I believe this is one of the latest Saturday games ever for the Premier League, and it is live on a major network. There is minimal football competition, and only a little college basketball competition.

Could this be the best rated NBC Premier League game ever?

BTW, the day starts super early with a 7 AM Clasico

Just my take: no. The time is nice for the west coast but it's still Leicester and will probably hover a little over a million.

The Premier League played a Saturday game that late around Christmas two seasons ago on December 26, 2015. December 26, 2012 was a Wednesday, but they had many games at 10:00 A.M. that day with a 12:30 P.M. and a 2:45 P.M. just like tomorrow.

When was the last time (if ever) an English broadcast channel showed two games that weren't part of a tournament in one day?

Fans should hope CNBC gets used on Sunday February 25 because Arsenal vs. Manchester City and Manchester United vs. Chelsea are both at 9:05 A.M. Arsenal can't play the day before because of their Europa League game before that, but Manchester United vs. Chelsea could have been the day before.

One or both of those matches will be postponed because some combo of Arsenal, Chelsea and/or Man City could be playing in the League Cup Final that day. PL just have them scheduled as placeholders in case Chelsea lose to Arsenal (or much less likely, Arse and City both lose semis).

Based on that, last year's Final got more viewers in Spanish than in English (230,000 in English was under half of the total). Isn't that surprising for an English game?

    That s an interesting point.

Only thing I can think of is that more people watched in on Bein Connect in English. I would venture to say more people who what the Spanish channel watch it more live than on apps/online (but that is just pure conjecture on my behalf.).

I think more people watch the Spanish language channel (full stop). Regardless of the event. Even though the English channel is in more homes, I think the core demo for beIN is Spanish speaking and pays more attention to the Spanish channel (as part of a Spanish language sports tier).

I think on Comcast only Spanish is available in HD.

On Comcast I only get the Spanish version. I need to upgrade in order to get the English version.
