So we have the Turkish who qualified for the tournament automatically by pure luck with some of the wildest stadium scenes ever after they scored in the last minutes vs Iceland which tells you a lot about how good their fans are, and then we have Croatia with one of the best midfields in Europe including a good attack force and good fullbacks. Who do you all think will win the standoff? Well lets start discussing!

I think Croatia. They seem to really have a stunning team. Deadly midfield, and since many other teams have injured players, Croatia arguably has the best midfield in this tournament honestly. Modric and Rakitic are both world class players playing for top top clubs. Perisic has been inconsistent this season, but he seems to always perform a lot better for Croatia than his clubs. Mandzukic has had a pretty good season at Juve as well. Kovacic not so sure how he is doing, as I don't think he got much playing time at Real, but at the same time I didn't follow Real other than in the UCL.

Their defense might be shaky at times, but they play sort of defensively, and Corluka is their best center back in my opinion, and he is a great player. Srna and Pranjic are aging, but there is also Vrsaljko and Vida who look quite promising actually, especially Vida from what I have seen from him.

I think Croatia have got this. Croatia are underrated. I say the Croats are 6th strongest team in this tournament:

    1. Germany
    2. France
    3. Spain
    4. Italy
    5. Croatia
    6. Portugal
    7. England

This is kind of what I predicted before the Euros started, but I haven't seen all of them yet.

It is difficult to determine rankings for best teams at this point, but I would say that ranking is reasonable enough except I as an Englishman am not so sure about England being the 7th best team, in fact I would fancy Belgium over us.

Srna crossing on Manjukic, that's what I expect from the game.

Oh yeah I forgot Belgium, Belgium is 5th, and then move everyone up as my predictions before this tournament.

My prediction is a 2-1 win for Croatia!! But then again it all depends on which Mandzukic shows up!!

Good chances on both ends but straight at the keepers.

I think the goalie should have done better, but I need to see it again.

It took a bounce at the end that would have given most keepers problems.

Again off the post. They need to put this game away, or they'll end up like England.

Luckily he's not playing the Turkey team of 2002, cause he would've left the game on a stretcher!!! :x3:
