Much cleanup. Please stick with discussing news in this thread and not the provider of the news. Thanks!

So... you sayin' that we can discuss a player's performance but not the player himself?

What does the current firestorm about ESPN's alleged political bias have to do with their story about Jay Heaps getting fired?

With relation to this thread, you are welcome to discuss the topic of a news article posted in this thread, but you aren't allowed to kvetch about the site that the news article is posted on. Particularly with regards to the perceived political lean of the site when it has nothing to do with the news article itself.

EDIT: I should clarify here, that is, of course, if the bias in the site influences that topic of the article. As an example, a Deadspin/World Soccer Talk article that is a hit piece on MLS, it is okay to discuss their anti-MLS bias. :)

Well.. I'm gonna say the meeting on Friday didn't go well.

Although, it is amusing that NASL is suing USSF for something that they asked USSF to do back when the NASL/USL split happened...
